When Vionne opened her eyes, she thought Alex was beside her. She smiled, even though it was dark, her eyes sparkled. She felt relieved that Alex hadn't changed.
She knew her husband was just startled, he was just driven by anger that led him to give her mistreatment the previous night. What mattered was that Alex still cared about her and escorted her to the hospital. She thought, most people tend to say hurtful things or act out when they're angry.
