He drives the boat deep into the foggy swamp, uses a giant wave to crash the bad guys' speed boat, and keeps Katina safe. * The Secret Twist: Charlie realizes Katina is the exact same girl he found lost sunglasses for three years ago at a summer carnival! Episode 2: The Hidden Swamp Treehouse (Chapters 8–14) * The Safe Place: Charlie drives the boat into a secret, completely hidden waterway called the Blind Canal. He takes Katina up into a beautiful, warm wooden cabin that sits right over the water like a giant treehouse. * Taking Care: Katina is exhausted and scared. Charlie gently washes a scratch on her foot, feeds her a warm dinner, and promises that as long as she is in his house, no bullies can ever hurt her. Katina finally feels safe enough to rest. * Cracking the Code: Together, they look at the secret computer thumb drive from the desk. Katina uses her smart brain to figure out the password. They discover the bad guys are moving stolen treasures the very next night at a spooky, empty warehouse! * The Close Call: A bad police boat drives right past their hideout, but Charlie holds Katina totally still in a dark room under the floorboards until the danger passes. Episode 3: The Midnight Mission (Chapters 15–20) * The Sneaky Plan: Charlie and Katina take the big boat near the empty warehouse, then use a tiny rowboat to sneak in through a flooded tunnel under the floor. * Sending the Signal: Katina tiptoes through the dark room and plugs the thumb drive into a shipping box to send a secret SOS signal to the federal police in Washington. * The Big Fight: The guards spot them! Charlie jumps into action like a superhero, wrestling a guard to the ground and throwing his own body over Katina to protect her from flying bullets as they escape back to the rowboat. * The Healing Heart: Back on their boat, Katina carefully bandages a scratch on Charlie's arm. She realizes how much she loves him for keeping her safe, and they promise to stay together forever. Episode 4: Smashing the Gates (Chapters 21–30) * The Blockade: The bad guys know Charlie and Katina are coming, so they tie a giant, rusty metal barge across the river to block their path. * Crash and Boom: Instead of stopping, Charlie pushes the boat's engines to maximum speed and smashes right through the rusty barge, breaking the chains like tiny twigs! * The Broken Bridge: The bad guys try to chase them in trucks on a dirt road. Katina uses a giant metal hook on the front of the boat to grab a wooden bridge. When the boat pulls the cable, the whole bridge collapses into the water, stopping the bad guys in their tracks! * The Happy Ending: They give the secret notebooks to the good federal police, who arrest the bad guys. Instead of moving to a new city, Katina chooses to go back to the cozy swamp cabin to live happily and safely with Charlie forever.
