I tried to fight him. He can’t hurt my family, specially Alisa. She was helpless against us. He of course fought me off with no problem. I was a caged animal in here. He rose and staggered to Alisa. I tried to fight him to leave her alone but it was no use. I mean I still had an effect on him as he was staggering. He grabbed her arm harshly however causing fear to radiate though me. She was so little.
“Oliver stop, your hurting me.” She cried as we dragged her to the bed. Oh little sis I wish I could.
“Shut up. You wine all day being so close to Molly has made you weak. She is no good for you. You will be at my side when I am home and we will make you strong. Your sister is a conniving little witch. She hides so much and lies non stop.” The demon spoke. It was true but he didn’t need to tell that to her. Alisa needed her sister as much as she needed me. It was Molly that caused this not Alisa.
“Oliver.” She cried as his grip tightened. I fought him again causing her to be thrown against the wall. My anger filling me as I fought. It did nothing as he caught eyes on her again. She was running for the door. Oh how I wish Molly was here. She could have fought me off. She should be here to protect her sister from me. But wait…..my mind went blank as I saw him use my hands to strangle her. I felt the tears on my cheeks as I tried once more as I felt us fall. I fought him for my life back. As I finally got at least part of my body back we both fell into darkness exhausted.
I woke up the next morning to a scream but I didn’t care as I rolled out of bed and gathered my things. The demon attacking for control but I was fighting him. I got a surge of strength last night that has allowed me to try and push him back. Didn’t help he was half in control of me. I quickly walked to the table where I saw breakfast ready. This was my food, my money I had every right to eat it.
“Alisa and I are going out shopping with Brekan and Callista today.” Molly spoke gently after she got them seated on the other side of the table. My bruise on display though I was confused. The demon was as well.
“Whatever.” I said with my mouth full. I could careless what they do. She had her own money.
“Your tab has been paid at the bar.” She spoke again before taking a bit of food.
‘Oh look at our money princess.’ The demon hissed.
“I bet with the stored up money you have.” I snickered. What in god name am I doing.?
“I had to use the credit card.” She spoke stern. “The one I have been working to pay off after everyone’s school fees.”
“Oh.” I spoke trying to fight the demon back. I knew about the credit card. Every year we could take my school fees off it and anything school related. She used the card for both me and Alisa.
“Yes, you racked up quite a bill. I will have to work a few extra hours for a while so no extra special food.” She wasn’t mad or anything, she was just telling me that was where some of the funds went.
“Do whatever. I have my own money.” I snapped at her. Why was I being like this. My sister who is trying to help me. She is giving me the reasons for the money, she is giving me the knowledge to fight him and yet here I am snapping at her. I quickly rose putting my dishes in the sink and leaving. I couldn’t snap at her again.
‘Why are you not giving it to her.’ The demon hissed. ‘She's lying.’
‘You and I both know that’s not true. We both have a card. We tested it and it was true she was paying it off.’ I snapped back at him. This caused him to be quiet. I quickly changed before I grabbed all the Bill’s I had left in my wallet and walked back out to her.
“Here, seeing how you had to pay for my tab. I should help out on the shopping trip.” I said placing them on the table. I didn’t count it. I should have to make sure there was enough there for her.
‘She has other stored up money. Plus she is now eating the food from your hard earned money.’ The demon spoke and I agreed as I left. I was in need of a release and the gym was calling me.
I spent hours there. The demon sure enjoyed it as he was quiet the whole time and seemed almost weak. It was nice to almost feel myself. I began to think about everything that happened. Everything I have done to my sisters and yet they where still there for me. I hope I will be able to fight him and get him back to just being in my head. Brekan was right. I am hurting her more then she has ever hurt me. Yeah she worked all the time but she made sure everything was paid for so we didn’t have to worry about not having it.
I hit a quick shower before heading home. I didn’t realise I had been out most of the day. Glad I told Marline I was taking a sister day. I quickly raced home hoping they would be there as it was almost supper. I walked in expecting supper ready but they were no where to be found.
‘Spending more of that secret money.’ The demon chuckled as I sighed. It was what I was thinking. We sat like this for hours waiting for them to return.
“Alisa head to your room with your stuff.” I heard Molly speak as the keys jiggled into the lock. Finally they where home. What took them so long. If she could shop that long then she could surely go to work. I stood as they entered and reached out for Alisa. I wasn’t able to grab her and I knew why.
“Your walking on thin ice.” the demon growled. I tried to rein him in but I was having no luck.
“I will not let you hurt this family.” She said back to me as she laid stuff I was in need of on the table with the Bill’s I had given her this morning. “I used my credit Card.”
“We are not done.” He said grabbing her arm. With a flick she had it out of our grip.
“I am not speaking with the demon. If you wish to give Oliver back then I will speak to him.” Molly said strong though I could see the pain in her eyes. She knew, my sister knew. “You are not my brother.”
“You will never get him back.” He chuckled.
“Why because you found an envelope of money in my purse when I was in hospital. You assumed that I hold money from him. Did you ever think once where all the money went. No because if you had known then we wouldn’t have been without netflix when I got back. I wouldn’t have had thousands of calls from people looking for money. I bet you don’t even know where half my paycheque now goes. All you care about is that I ‘Lied to you’.” She snapped. I cant believe this. My sister snapped at me. “Ask Marilyn tomorrow and she will tell you where all my money has been going while you go and drink your money away.”
“You have no right.” He said smacking her hard. There was no way he was touching her again as I watched her hit the ground. I knew my body was shaking as I fought him back. I was using everything, my will power and magic to keep him away and I succeeded as she got up and left. I hit her. I cant believe this.
‘She is lying.’ The demon tried.
‘I will never listen to you again.’ I snapped at him as I managed to lock him away. I knew it wouldn’t be for very long but it was enough to get through the night. I had to talk to Molly. I had to apologise but how.
I walked up to Alisas room but as I went to knock I heard there gently snores and knew they where asleep. With a sigh I left the house. I had to talk with Prissy. She is the only one that would know what to do. At least I hope she will know what to do.
I walked into the bar and pat smiled at me. He was about to pour me a drink but I stopped him before I could. I had the demon locked away and I knew this drink was making himself stronger. He looked concerned before pointing me to the back room. I nodded knowing she was back there having a break.
“Hey babe.” She spoke right away. She was the only one that sees the real me anymore.
“Hey.” I smiled at her happily. She got up from her seat and wrapped her arms around my neck planting her plump lips on mine.
“Oh babe, who knew I get to call you mine now.” She smiled happily.
“I have a question.” I gently sighed. She smiled as she led me over to the table she was at.
“Let me guess you did something horrible to your sister.” She spoke causing me to look up at her. “You are never gloomy other wise.”
“What do I do babe. I really messed up.” I darn near cried.
“She will forgive you. I know she will. She loves you as much as you love me. You just have to show her. She needs her brother not this work alcoholic.” She smiled. “You made this broken heart fall in love with you in less then three weeks. She knows you and loves you Oli. You just got to show here."
“Thanks Pumpkin.” I said pecking her lips.
“I think I like this one.” She smiled kissing me. Well that turned out to be a harsh make out session that took up the rest of her break. I left after that as I really didn’t want any more alcohol.
I went to bed right away. I wanted to get up and make Molly breakfast before heading to work. She deserved it after everything I had done to her. She needs her brother and not some jackass I have become. Well when I woke I wish I hadnt. He was free and man did he fight. I was so exhausted by the time I got some control over him. We walked out to a table set for me with breakfast. My lunch kit was beside it filled with lunch. I quickly ate and noticed two plates in the sink and knew Molly had already left. I raced to get ready as I knew she probably took the car but when I noticed it outside I got mad. Well not a good thing as the demon began to fight once more.
‘You gave me control once. I will get it back again.’ He hissed as I was able to fight him again.
“Oliver.” Marilyn called as I walked into the office. I looked over and smiled at her. “I suspected you would come with your sister today. Did she have to catch the bus again.”
“I’m not sure ma’am. I didn’t think she was coming back to work yet.” I spoke honestly. I though she may have taken Alisa out for breakfast and was going to hit the mall again or was going to grocery shop. When she could she liked doing it early morning because there was no line ups.
“I hope your going to be taking her home after work.” She spoke with a frown.
“I will not let her take the bus ever again if I can help it.” I told her as truthfully as the demon would let me. He was scratching at the guards. Marilyn nodded her approval before she left. I sat down and got to work. By lunch I had most of the stuff needed for the meeting as well as a few things I needed approval from Molly with. I quickly got up and walked to her office with the paper. She was eating lunch with Alisa.
“Here.” I said as i harshly handed her the papers. I didn’t mean to I was just so use to it. She took them from me and placed them on her desk before sitting back down to eat. “They need to be done.”
“I will get to them first the moment I am done my lunch.” She gently told me as she placed the last bite in my mouth. I threw my hands up as I stormed out of her office. I didn’t know what is right or wrong any more and I knew I just blew it again.
I went back to my office and began to eat my lunch to which I finished in time for the meeting gathering my work I walked in. What shocked me was Molly was there helping set up the projector. She was finished however as I walked in but took her seat beside Marlyn. I have never seen both of them smile so widely. Marilyn was proud of Molly and Molly was smiling because she was happy. I was internally smiling because she was happy.
The meeting went on. Ryan started his goings with everything happening in his department. Candida, who was in charge of shipping stuff was explaining how she has had to let go some truck drivers because we couldn’t fill trucks. Then it was my side of things. I was in charge of the financial part.
“Production needs to pick up for profit to pick up.” I stated though I think it was pretty obvious.
“We are doing our best.” That’s all Ryan has ever said when I talk to him.
“Its not enough.” I demanded again. Molly rose from where she was sitting and walked up to the slide. I was confused. What would she know about charts. I mean I went to school for all of this and yet here she is standing at the projector like it was a puz…. That’s exactly what she was looking at. To her charts and questions where puzzles to be solved.
“Could I see the production charts.” She asked gently. Marilyn looked at Ryan who got up and clicked a few things on the computer. You could tell she was really studying it. “There’s your problem.”
“What problem?” Ryan asked confused. I was just as confused as he was. I have looking at the same thing she was and couldn’t figure it out.
“We need production to go quicker but it’s not. Looking at these charts your running your staff 8 hours doing all three. Split them up and rotate them or give them an option on what they want to do.” She spoke gently like she would get in trouble for speaking up. Ryan looked at me before looking back at her. She mentally sighed as she continued. “When you ask someone to do one job all day are they not going to tire of that or feel over whelmed? That’s just like me telling you Ryan start to finish you are going to pay one employee before you go to the next.”
“Well that’s a complete waste of time and I would get board.” Ryan said. The light went on right after that. “Oh I see.”
“Do you?” Marilyn asked. Boy did she look so annoyed and happy at the same time. “I have only been asking how to improve your staff for months.”
“I thought I did.” Ryan said hanging his head. He really did change it because he came to me to ask what he should do.
“I bet you will also stop losing workers because they wont feel so warn out.” Molly told him with a smile. Why didn’t I think of that? I mean at home I’ve watched Molly do multiple things at once and not once did she complain or not get work done.
“Done. Let’s meet next week and we will see how things turned out.” Marilyn spoke as she motioned for Molly to follow. She quickly gathered her stuff and followed Marilyn out. I watch her collect Alisa before they settled into the bosses office. I just sighed as I went to my own office.
A few minutes in of doing nothing I got an email with my info I needed from Molly. Took me a few minutes to realise that it was her office email and like she promised she got to work on it allowing me to get back to the investors. I was so happy this day went so well. I don’t know why I was worried. She was an event organizer and I was finance. Totally different fields and we where both good at what we did.
‘She still had to help you.’ The demon hissed causing me to cringe.
‘Minor setback.’ I snapped at him.
‘You are still in need of her.’ The demon chuckled.
‘I don’t need anyone.’ I said back to him as Marilyn came to the door.
“All okay?” She asked looking at me concerned. I nodded with a smile. “Man that sister of yours is really good. Smart to. I so cant wait to see what else she can do. Also cant wait to see what you can do for me. If she works that well without proper schooling what can you do with the knowledge.”
“Molly has always been great with problem solving. She can get you out of a tight pickle if needed.” I smiled knowing it was true. She had helped me so many times. “Can I ask you something?”
“Of course.” Marilyn said with a smile. “Or is this about the envelope of money I gave her the day she passed out?”
“How?”
“Now before you think Molly mentioned it don’t worry she didn’t directly. She wanted me to remember it before you asked. And yes, it was an advance on her paycheck so she could take some time to heal. My brother was telling me about her last chat we had as I mentioned her. Said you both have been through some tuff times. I wanted to help out. If I had know she had a twin brother I would have sought you out right away. You got lots to live up to.” She smiled gently. “But know this. You are well on your way.”
“Thank you ma’am.” I spoke feeling proud and upset.
“No worries. Now I do want to discuss this loan issue. She is still taking so much of it on and leaving you your whole paycheck. I hope your helping out at home.” She spoke causing me to be a little shocked. “She refused to let some of the loan come off your cheque and I feel it’s not fair.”
“No it’s not and it needs to stop immediately.” I told her stern causing Marilyn to smile wider. “It should be 50/50. Fair for both of us and then maybe she will be able to go shopping for herself.”
“Or get that second car.” She smiled. I nodded. “I think she is about to pack up to leave as I know I am. Please take her home.”
“I’ll pack up and head to the car.” I spoke as I began to pack up a bit of my papers and laptop. Marilyn smiled as she let herself out.
“Hello.” I spoke into my phone when an unknown number popped up.
“Babe. I need help. Patric isn’t answering.” Prissy’s voice called through casing me to get a little worried.
“I’ll be right over babe.” I told her as I raced out to the car. “s**t I have to take Molly and Alisa home.”
“I’ll be okay for a little while. I think I may have lost them in the bar. I’m in my hidden room.” She spoke quietly.
“Hang on babe I’ll be there soon.” I gently spoke. I didn’t realise I was at the car as I hung up. Molly was walking over. I didn’t know what to say, Prissy needed me. My mind was so focused on her.
Molly buckled Alisa in before she got into the passenger seat. My sister looked so exhausted and yet I was leaving her again. She just freaking got out of the hospital and now back to work. Why was I being an asshole. I should be taking us out for supper. I know with the loan taking from both our cheques now not just hers she will have some money freedom. Means my outings will be cut down or at least less drinking for sure.
“I will be back later.” I said as we stopped outside of the house. Molly nodded gently as she got Alisa out before I drove away. I saw her sigh gently from my rear view mirror before turning to the house. I wish I could go back to them, to hug and hold them tight. Cook supper with them and enjoy it as a family but my girl needed me.
I pulled into the parking lot of the bar and it was in full swing. I quickly parked and raced in. Patric was at the bar looking around. When he saw me he raised his hand in a gesture to wait, I did.
“Hey man have you heard from Prissy?” he asked with worry lacing each word. “She called me and when I tried to call her back her phone was busy. When I finally got through it died.”
“Yeah she’s over this way.” I told him as we both walked towards the back. In the back just past all the private booths was a hidden door. If you didn’t know about it you wouldnt know it was there. Prissy and I found it one day when she had to get away from a guy. We where kissing and fell on the wall. I think she may have told a few of the other girls about it.
“I told you to leave me alone.” Prissy’s voice cried. I tensed as I raced down the narrow hallway that would lead to the small opening.
“Oh come on babe. What your boss don’t know wont kill you.” A males voice spoke I have never heard.
“You disgusting pig.” She cried as she was on the floor clothing torn. He was reaching for her as I froze the scene. I was right mad.
“What the?” the man spoke.
“You have now released the devil.” I snapped at him and before he knew what was coming he was on the floor. I quickly unfrozen the area and ran up to Prissy.
“No.” She screamed as she hit her brother. I don’t blame her but felt bad for him.
“Easy Pumpkin. Its us.” I gently cooed to her. Her head instantly went up to us.
“Oh god. Patric I’m so sorry.” She cried as she reached out to him. He quickly jumped to her embrace as she held him tight. I removed my blazer to wrap around her. Patric removed his hands so he could hold it to her.
“What the fuck.” The man on the ground cussed. He took one look at me and was racing for the door. I knew he would be on his way out of the bar.
“He’s gone sis. He’s gone.” Patric cooed to her as they sat there a ping of guilt in my heart as I watched them. This was me and Molly at one time. Now I don’t even know if she would let me hug her. Prissy let her brother go so she could hold me tight.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered gently to me.
“For what honey.” I asked confused.
“I wrecked your night with Molly.” She said.
“Oh no babe. She would have told me to go and help you. Molly has a heart of gold and if anyone is in need of me she would even force me to drop my plans to help them.” I told her.
“I cant stay here.” She cried.
“Then come back with me.” I told her. “We can go to my house for the rest of the night and we will drop you home tomorrow.”
“Go with him Prissy. I’ll explain to the boss what happened here. I have to finish my shift or I would take you home.” Patric sighed. He gently rubbed his sisters back as she nodded. I helped her wrap the jacket further around her before we exited the room. Little tight holding her in the hallway but with a bit of magic I made it wide enough we could. Her face was hidden in my chest she wouldn’t have seen. The demon however felt it and was pushing on his binds. I just pray I could keep him at bay.
“Monica.” Her boss called as he came stomping over. I held her tight. “What happened.”
“They f*****g tried to r**e me.” She screamed at him removing her face from my chest. Her makeup was everywhere and she didn’t hold the jacket tight. Her clothing and everything on full show.
“Monica.” He spoke holding his hand up to hide her breast from his sight. I quickly pulled the jacket around her and held her tight once more. One to calm the anger in me that was directed to the guys who was staring at my girl and to help calm her anger. She needed this job like I needed mine and I knew she would blow up at her boss.
“I’m taking her home for the night sir.” I spoke as calm as I could.
“Take the next night as well. I’ll get the ass hole and ban him from the bar.” The boss roared. I knew he wasn’t angry at us but the man that did this. Yes, his bar allowed the girls to give a blow job for a huge price and lap dances but there was one thing he would not tolerate and that was s*x. The women could go topless and the men could touch them there if the women approve but panties stay on. Yes I know we had s*x but he didn’t need to know that. “No one touches my girls like this.”
“Thank you Roger.” She whimpered in appreciation.
“Boyfriend?” He said looking at me. I nodded and he smiled. “Keep a close eye on her. She special to this bar. I can almost guarantee she is the reason this bar is still running.”
“Promise sir she is safe with me. I have two sisters at home that will help her feel comfortable.” I said gently. He nodded as he patted my shoulder before waving two security guards over and started to storm through the crowd. I knew the man was gone but if not he would take care of him.
“Molly wont get mad will she?” Prissy asked with tears in her eyes.
“No love. Don’t you worry.” I told her lifting her head so I could kiss her lips gently. “She will be okay with it.”
“Thank you.” She smiled as I got her in the car and buckled before jumping in the driver seat.
“I’m going to call her.” I said and she nodded. The phone rang a few times before someone picked up.
“Hello?” She sounded like she was sleeping. I looked at the time and it was 8 o’clock. Damn. I left her 2 hours ago. Who knew time could fly.
“Hey Molly, did I wake you.?” I asked a little concerned.
“Yeah.” She spoke stretching. Man, she needed the sleep. With panic she spoke. “Wait no, I fell asleep watching a movie. Sorry, I’m glad you called.”
“Oh, um I have a favor to ask.” I spoke a little nervous.
“What’s wrong?” She asked worried. I knew she was probably concerned I damaged the car or broke something.
“My Girlfriend is staying with me tonight. Someone tried to r**e her.” I spoke gently.
“Absolutely. You bring that poor girl over right away. I’ll get some food going and a few things ready.” Molly spoke sounding rushed.
“Please don’t…I don’t want…” Prissy stuttered out.
“Non-sense. You are not going to inconvenience me at all. Now my brother is very strong and loving. He wouldn’t want you anywhere else but at his side specially after what you went through. Plus I think I would have beaten him if he took you anywhere else. Do you have a sibling?” Molly spoke very gently.
“He’s working. I live with him.” Prissy sounded so relaxed talking to her. Molly had a way of talking to strangers that made her feel like she know them.
“I bet he is at work and no one is at home.” She spoke. Damn my sis knows me way to well. “My brother would not bring you home if not. Plus I wouldn’t feel comfortable being alone after what happened. We are here and we will keep you safe.”
“Thank you.” Prissy cried.
“Oh girl, we got your back. Now you relax and I’ll see you soon.” Molly chuckled gently before she hung up. I laughed knowing I had done the right thing.
“Your right, your sister has a heart of gold.” Prissy smiled at me. I nodded happy to know my sister still loved me.
