Chapter 6: Oliver

4148 Words
For 3 weeks she has been in hospital and today she was coming home. Today she was finally free of that wretched place and you will never guess where I am. Yep I’m at work. I told her I couldn’t pick her up which was a lie. I could have if I wanted to but Nope. This stupid Demon that had control over me wouldn’t let it. “Oliver.” A voice called. I looked up from the graphs I was looking at. There in front of me was my boss. Mrs. Marline. She was the nicest person in the world and she adored my sister. Something that mad me jealous. I mean I really don’t know what kind of position she had in the firm but I worked my ass off at school and prayed it wasn’t my field of work. “Good day Ma'am.” I spoke standing up. She smiled and motioned for me to sit back down. “How are things going?” She asked as she sat down in one of the chairs. “They are on the rise. If we keep up I think we should be back to the top.” I spoke happy the Demon was at bay while I answered her. Normally he would let me take over when it came to everyone that wasn’t Molly. “Good, you and your sister have done such wonders for this branch.” She spoke happily as it looked like a weight was coming off her shoulders. “I think you can take the day off and go get your sister.” “One day off means we could fall. I am here to make us climb higher then we have ever climbed.” The Demon Spoke through me. “She has other arrangements I’m sure.” “I see, thought you would be happy she was coming out and would want to make sure she is settled.” Marline looked a bit confused. “I’m sure the babysitter for Alisa will be home and they are good friend.” The demon spoke as he went back to looking at the charts and paperwork. The boss was a little taken back but nodded as she got up and walked out. I don’t think that sits well with her. I sigh, if only she knew everything that had happened. If my sister didn’t hide money then I would be fine. ‘She dug this hole for herself.’ The demon snapped as he looked at another chart. The rest of the day was quiet and once I was satisfied I shut of my lights and left. The Janitor was still there so I let him lock everything up as he said he would do anyways. The car roared to life as we pulled out of the parking lot and on to a new bar. I would have went back to my favorite pub but racked up a bit of a debit on that one. Got to get around to pay that. “Hey Oliver, the usual?” The bartender asked as he began to pour my whiskey on the rocks. Best drink ever. The music in this place was nice. Little old but good beat. The women danced beautiful on the polls and let me tell you an eye opener. They where beautiful and the way they can move is still a mystery to me. “HEY hot shot.” One of the women I have seen a lot call. “Hey Prissy, how’s your night going?” I asked taking the drink from the bartender. I swallowed a small sip before a shot was put in front of me. She winked before moving further along. This meant she was having a good night. Prissy was her real name. She went by Monica as he stage name. Nice young women. Had it rough in the first part of her life. “She is on a role tonight. First time I’ve seen her in the last 4 hours.” The bartender spoke. This was Patric. He was Prissys long lost brother. He found her working here and started working behind the bar. The owner thought it was great as Prissy can get into real problems with the guys and her brother is a football player I swear. “Good, she has been having a rough week.” I spoke downing the last of the whiskey before I took the shot. Oh that was good. He topped up my whiskey before moving to another customer. I willowed in my drink before my phone buzzed. It was a text from Brekan. Something to do with Molly but decided to ignore it. I shut my phone off as well. This was my time. Before I knew it I was 200 dollars or so down in drinks at the clock said 1:30. Oh boy bout time I head home. I walked smoothly to my car. The alcohol in me not affecting me. Man get this demon and now no amount of alcohol affects me. The demon just chuckled as we drove down the road to the house. I removed the house key and opened up to the best smell in the world. Lasagna. I had to get me some of that but I stumbled over a chair. “Fuck.” I screamed before getting to the fridge. I was moving food around trying to find the lasagna. She must have eaten it all. “What are you doing?” She asked gently from the stair well. I bet she was just waiting for me to come home so she could yell at me. Doesn’t mater she is home so she cant pin the whole extra hours on babysitting on me. “Looking for something to eat.” I snapped at her. I mean come on what does it look like. “There is plenty of things in the fridge. Mrs. Thomas just picked up the groceries for us.” She gently spoke stepping towards me. “Nothing I like.” I said slamming the fridge and walking away. She was annoying me. Why not just leave me the f**k alone. I have been fine the last 3 weeks on my own. I didn’t need her. I opened my room door and shut it before I went to my bed and flopped. Well to bed I go without food. A knock at the door came before Molly entered. “Here.” She gently said passing me the plate of food. Why would she make me food. Why take the time and effort to make me something when she should be resting. It took a bit but I managed to grab the plate. I could see the confusion on her face. “Is everything okay?” “Yeah.” I spoke trying to fight the evil demon. But wait most of what I said was me. I said those nasty things not her. “Oliver what’s wrong?” She asked concerned and confused. She knew something wasn’t right. “You have been so distanced lately.” “Is this because I didn’t come pick you up.” I asked thinking it had to be because I didn’t grab her from the hospital. Man I was freaking working how could I leave. She never did. “No, you where at work busy. I understand and Mrs. Thomas gave me a ride.” She spoke gently. “Molly you should be asleep.” I said finishing the last bite of the sandwich she gave me. I had swelled allot. “If you eat that fast you will get a stomach-ache.” She chuckled. “I’m not 5 molly. I can take care of myself which we have seen you do.” I snapped at her. She jumped a bit but I didn’t care. If she cared for me she would have never been in the hospital in the first place. She would have told me everything and never hid the money from me. Ahhhhhh this is all her fault, everything that is happening is her fault. “Now you may leave. Here bet there is room in the dishwasher.” “Oli,” her voice annoyed me more with that nickname. She has no right to call me that. “Get out Molly and stop calling me that.” I said grabbing her shoulders harshly and throwing her out of my room. I slammed the door in her face. I stepped away and froze. What was I doing. Molly was my everything and here I am being rude and none of this was the demon. It was me. I’m spiraling out of control and letting him really take over. I cant tell what’s me and what’s him anymore. ‘You are the demon. I am just a made up person in your head.’ The demon chuckled. ‘Just wait more is yet to arise.’ The next morning I felt groggy. I think I drank to much last night. Who cares it’s my money and I enjoy it. I quickly raced for a suit for work and hit the shower. I wanted to look presentable and not smell like I have been out all night. As I emerged I smelt Molly’s cooking. Must be nice to be home and eating off someone else’s money. I grabbed my stuff and walked out to the kitchen where I sat myself down at the table and ate the breakfast she had cooked. It was my money why shouldn’t I enjoy it. Alisa had a large plate full which made me happy. It means she will be eating a proper diet now and will actually get to the weight I’m sure she should be at. “Are you coming to office.” I asked putting my plate in the sink. It was an instinct thing. Would always put it there. “I was told to take the week.” she told me as she began to clear the table. “Great week off, glad my overtime is coming in handy.” I said. Of course now brother is working full time, time to take a vacation and spend his money. Though he never got to spend yours. “I will be back to work soon and I’ll work overtime to cover it.” She told me a little taken back. “What ever.” I said leaving the kitchen. I raced to my room for my brief case before walking out the door with keys in my hands. I mean I now work full time. I get the car. It was dark when I got to work causing me to have to open up. Means the other guys didn’t arrive yet. It was nice to have the office to myself for the moment. I got to work with the charts and graphs and everything else I was given to look at. It was a walk in the park and a smile lit my face. All my hard work at school has given this opportunity to me. To take this once thriving establishment that was on the verge of bankruptcy and make it flourish once more. I mean Yes granted everything stays on schedule and things are done on time but I will discuss that with Mrs. Marline when she gets in. It was about mid day when she arrived and walked into my office. She looked annoyed and upset about something. I couldn’t fathom what it was nor would I push the subject. “How are things looking Oliver?” She asked sitting in a chair in front of my desk. I had rose when she got here and sat once more. “Its on the rise. As long as productions keep going the way it should be we will be up in the good in no time.” I smiled happily. This put a smile on her face. “Alright you get me those dates and I’ll get my assistant to put them into the schedule.” She smiled as she rose. Before leaving she asked. “How’s your sister.” “Looking forward to getting back to work.” I said as calmly as I can. “Good, things are starting to fall apart and its only been two days since I last brought her something.” Marline spoke as she was about to leave. “Come see me after shift so I can hand you some paperwork.” “Will do.” I told her with a smile as I began to bash the key board once she was gone. I cant believe how she acts. It’s like Molly does everything but I am the one crunching the numbers finding business deals and trying to get the money flowing good. Ahhhhhh, no matter what I do she is always better then me. ‘You are hungry.’ The demon snickered. I looked at the clock and then my bag. I forgot my lunch. Well I know who to call. Let’s see how she feels about Busses. I pulled out my phone and dialed. “Hello,” Alisa's sweet voice rang over the phone. “Hey Alisa is Molly there.” I asked. “Molly, Oliver is calling.” Alisa’s voice was quiet so I know she is passing her the phone. “Hello?” her voice laced with worry causing me to internally chuckle. “I forgot lunch.” I let the anger place each word. “My lunch is in an hour.” “What would…..” I didn’t care. She has know me all my life and now she asked me what I would like. Well she can just figure it out. I got busy in paper work and realised it had been an hour and a half since I called her. Oh was I annoyed and the Demon in side me was chuckling. “Your Late.” I snapped as she finally entered the office. She reached out the brown paper bag to me. “Sorry missed one of the connecting buses.” She told me as I ripped the bag from her. I walked away to enjoy my lunch. I stopped when I heard my boss call her name. “Molly.” Marline called as she walked up to my sister. She was a little startled and looked around for the voice till it fell on her. “Hello Ma'am.” Molly spoke gently as they embraced. “What are you doing here?” She asked a little shocked. “Just came to drop food off for Oliver.” Molly told her. Marline frowned at this causing me to chuckle. “He should have just bought lunch in the lunch room.” She spoke annoyed. I was in shock. “Maybe he didn’t know.” Molly told her. Was she sticking up for me. “Oh no he knew. Bought lunch from there the whole time you where in hospital.” She spoke with a sigh. “Anyways he better have given you the car to get home with.” “I got the spare key.” Molly lied. Oh look at how good she can lie. I mean been doing it for the last 5 years better be good. I didn’t want to hear more as I walked down the hall. I still can believe she was defending me. I pulled out the container and my heart melted. When ever I was mad at her she would always make me this sandwich. If only she knew, if only she actually cared. Ahhhh. She is so annoying as I sighed. ‘She has lied to you, hid money from you and your pitying her.’ The demon spoke. ‘Maybe there is a good reason for all of this. Maybe she had no choice.’ I tried to counter but knew it was pointless. He was right. I ate my lunch in silence as I began to work again. I was trying to figure out more ways to get the company more money when a call came through. It was my buddy. “Hey, Brekan.” “Dude, where you been. Your working so freaking much. The owner at the pub has been wondering where you are says your tab is past due.” My buddy of many years said. “Been to busy to go out to drink.” I lied. “Well man told him you would be there soon to pay it. Right?” Brekan said. “Though we could have a night out. Alisa is safe at my house or Callista and we can take Molly.” “You know bud pretty busy at work. I might have to take a rain check.” I spoke with a chuckle. “You should really spend time with them you know.” He spoke after a bit of silence. “Who.” Yep stupid question but I just can fathom whom he would be talking about. “Don’t play stupid. Molly is really worried about you and so is Alisa. They both miss you being around.” Brekan snapped at the first sentence but was calm the rest of the way. He was right. I mean it was me and Alisa for the longest of time. “Alisa's got Molly now. She don’t need me.” I chuckled. “Your going to regret this Oliver. I remember how broken you where when Molly spent all her time working to pay the things that needed to be paid.” Brekan spoke. “Don’t let her go through it with you.” “I wont bud, I promise,” I told him actually being true to me. The real me not this demon in me. “Listen lots of work got to run.” “No problem.” Brekan said before we hung up. A heavy sigh broke out of me. It was true what he said I am doing everything she did. I shouldn’t be like this. I should be ready for anything and embracing them strongly. She worked 5 years of her life away so we could be happy. She now needs to be happy. ‘Haha,’ the demon laughed. He was right on his end to. She probably was living her life. I drowned my self in work once more till I looked up. It was 6 pm. With an annoyed sigh I packed up and left. The bar was where I was heading. I needed to be there. The car roared to life and drove me to my new pub. “Hey, your late?” Prissy spoke as she led me in. We got in further and she turned around to face me and kiss me. I was in shock but that didn’t stop me from kissing her back. “Wow baby.” I spoke as she pulled away. “You are stressed. Come let me give you a lap dance.” She said. “Prissy what’s wrong.” I asked as I pulled her back into me. “I got three guys who are lusting over me. They wont take no for an answer and you know how the boss is. Money money money. If I’m busy with someone he wouldn't bother with me.” She spoke leading me away to her privet room. She locked the door and flopped beside me. “Don’t worry, I got your drink already prepared.” “Other then the three bastards, been a good night?” I asked as she passed over the drink. Took a large gulp almost choking on an ice cube. “Yes, made more money tonight then I did the other.” She smiled as she sat back down beside me. Her head rested on my shoulder. “Molly is a lucky lady to have a brother like you.” “Yeah?” I said pushing everything I had against the demon to not break the glass. “Yeah, I mean I am lucky I get to know her brother and I have a brother that’s just as good as you. But I think she is the luckiest.” Prissy gently chuckled. “Your brothers amazing. He would have beaten up those men for you if he could.” “I know,” She smiled. “And if he could leave the bar he would be in this room with me waiting out the night. I guess we both are lucky.” “Ha.” I smiled happily. She heard the rattling if the door and man can Prissy move. Her skilled hand had my pants down and my d**k in her mouth causing my head to shoot back. A moan escaped it as the door opened. “Yes sir.” Prissy gently spoke removing her lips. “Looks like your actually busy.” The boss grumbled. “he better….” “Come on man its cutting into my time.” I called from where my head was still laid back. “I apologise sir. Please continue.” The door shut and locked behind him. Prissy sat beside me with an apologetic look as my head was lifted off the couch. I looked at her and crashed my lips on hers. She was taken back but soon I felt them moving. “I think someone owes me.” I gently chuckled. “You finish what you started and I pay.” “Free drinks on me.” She moaned before her lips parted mine and went where I wanted them. This was going to be a sinful night I was going to regret but when the demon takes over I hand no control. We where in the room for hours. I don’t know how those drinks came in but man I could see why those men wanted her. She was good and she was worth every penny. I traced circles on her shoulder from where we lay on the floor. The couch and the bed where hot with lust. The floor was the last place we could go. “Your beautiful.” I spoke before kissing her shoulder. “Your amazing Oli.” She smiled and my heart lit up. My nickname came off her lips beautifully. “I hope you know your mine now.” I spoke pulling her closer to me. “When ever you need a safety net I’m here.” “Are you asking me out?.” She chuckled turning in my embrace so her naked boobs and hard n*****s brushed up against my chest. She hissed with pleasure causing my friend to stir a bit. “Will you be my girlfriend Prissy.” I asked her before leaning in and stealing her lips. When I let them go she nodded and kissed me back. Well there goes another few rounds. I think I might have fallen asleep with her there. When we woke it was her brother shaking us. Glad I moved us to the bed and covered us. “Bro.” Prissy grumbled. “Boss has been looking for you all night. I managed to send him home and said I would look for you.” He chuckled. “now you both got to get up and moving. He will be back soon I’m sure.” “Thanks man.” I gently said tickling his sister. Her brother raced out of the room to give us some privacy as we got up and dressed. I handed over 400. She smiled and put it back in my hand. “Do you think my boyfriend has to pay after such a good night.” She smiled at me. “I got a huge tip from one of the stag parties tonight. I’ll use that. You go and buy some breakfast and get to work.” “You are to much. Maybe I should spend it on my beautiful girlfriend.” I smiled at her. She chuckled as she met my lips for a sweet simple kiss. I looked at my watch as I put it on and my eyes went large. I had 2 hours before I was expected at work. “I’ll see you tonight?” “You bet.” She chuckled with a new glow on her face. Man was I the luckiest man alive. ‘You and me both man you and me both.’ The demon inside spoke. The car ride was true bliss as we thought of the night we had. I pulled up to the house with a smile on my face. I walked in and past something on a chair. My head was just to in groused in the images of my new girlfriend. I quickly changed and made my way to the kitchen. There on a kitchen chair was Molly. She was all c****d crooked and was lightly snoring. Looking at the way she was sitting there you knew it was going to be a painful wake up. My heart dropped as I saw the food waiting for me. It was my favorite lasagna. The demon inside me trying to fight back those sights with his own but I managed to hold him down as I lifted my sister to my arms and took her to her room. I laid her down in the bed and tucked her in. I placed a kiss on her forehead before leaving the room. I couldn’t let the demon take over till I was out. He couldn’t ruin that moment. ‘You will regret that.’ The demon chuckled as I felt my head pound. I closed my eyes and found myself being pulled. When I opened my eyes I was looking through what felt like a lens. My body there with me. The demon had finally taken over. It had finally got me and I felt my heart dying as I knew no matter what this demon will do as he please. ‘Your father was a lot weaker then you, I will give you that. But still when I want something I get it.’ “Oliver.” Alisa spoke gently as she exited her room. “Alisa.” I screamed but there was nothing I could do as the demon took the mater in his own hands and I was given the back seat. My biggest fear taking over as all I could do was watch.
