It was still dark when Josh awoke. His hand immediately felt its way to the bed beside him. When it touched a warm body, Josh smiled. He hugged Valerie from behind and peppered the kisses from her shoulder, neck, and back until Valerie turned around.
“Good morning, my wife. How was your sleeping last night?”
Valerie placed her head on Josh’s shoulder and smiled. “Morning, my husband. Since I’m so fresh now, I think I slept well.”
Josh gave a quick kiss on Valerie’s forehead. “Glad to hear that. I need to sleep again, but before that, maybe we can play in the morning. What do you think?”
