It was three p.m. when Josh awoke. At first, it was because the bell rang. But, since he didn’t open the door soon, the bell sound was filling the apartment, followed by the banging sounds of the knocked door.
“Josh! Open the door!”
Josh quickly put on his robe, tied the belt, and walked fast to the door. “Yes, I am coming!”
When Josh opened the door, Clark and Hugh were there. “What happened?”
Immediately Clark and Hugh went inside, and Hugh closed the door.
“The Therons’ troops are coming here. You must go immediately. Where is Valerie?”
“How can they know Valerie is here, and why are they still searching for her? Haven’t you spread the news about my wedding, Clark?”
“I did! But somehow, either they have lost their mind or have another plan; they seem determined to get her!”
