In Josh’s apartment, Josh and Valerie prepared to move to Mike’s apartment. They had brought all they needed to Josh’s car. Mike would handle the rest. As Josh and Valerie arrived at Mike’s apartment, they rested for a while.
Fortunately, Mike had two bedrooms, though the second bedroom was much smaller than the main bedroom. So, Valerie stayed in the small bedroom in the first story while Josh was in the main bedroom in the second story. Mike’s apartment was a two-story building. Valerie’s bedroom was downstairs while Josh’s was upstairs. Josh actually offered the main bedroom to Valerie, but she refused it.
“You can stay with me in the main bedroom,” Josh said. “The bed is spacious enough for both of us.”
