Josh kept staring at Valerie. Then he approached her and raised her chin with his hand. “You are spectacular!”
Valerie smiled and looked elsewhere. Her cheeks were red. She had seen the mirror and was relieved that she was following the hairdresser’s suggestion about the red dress. The dress made her body figure better. She was more confident because of that.
Then Josh whispered in Valerie’s ear, “Now I want to eat you instead.”
Valerie hit Josh’s arm lightly. Her cheeks were getting redder. “We should go now.”
“Or we can ask the restaurant to deliver the meals here.”
“After all the effort to choose a beautiful dress and have such great make-up?” Valerie shook her head. “I think we should go.”
