I dunno if I'm to feel relieved or not when the car finally pulls up into the huge compound. I wish I didn't recognize it and I hated the fact that the surroundings were so familiar, but it was what it was , and I was going to use it to my advantage.
I hoped.
I waited till the car rolled to a halt in front of the Mansion. Before I could move a muscle, a tall lanky man on the other side of the door rushed towards me, opening up the door and stretching forward his hand towards me.
My weary eyes trailed his hand, before running up and down his physique, and when I realized I didn't know who he was either, I felt a tiny wave of panic flutter in me.
