I felt something wet dripping on my face.

"Oh what the heck !, why hasn't my alarm rang" I screamed. I saw my little annoying brother Derek pouring water on my face. "Derek!!!".

I chased him out of my room. Today was the first day of the term in Greenville's Senior High and I was running late.(by the way the names' Melissa Beaumont).

I hurriedly clean my teeth and I step into the bathroom to have a shower. I towel myself dry as I select an outfit for the day. I finally select a night green crop top and a black jean short.

I go through my normal routine of blow drying my hair and I brush it to straighten it a bit. I apply a little bit of makeup and slip my clothes on.

I race down the stairs and I greet mom and let her peck me. I take a pack of my fav cereal and pour it in my bowl and get a jar of orange juice from the fridge and set on the counter while I grab a chair (my mom is a fashion designer/event planner and my dad is a Managing Director of a large company so I can say we are kinda living in luxury.)

After munching my breakfast, I hurriedly walk out of my house to the street and take the bus to school.

While in school, I walk up the three flight of steps and locate my locker. Before I can punch the four digit code to unlock my locker,Natalie my best friend scares the hell out of me.

"Hey girl she says. How was your hols?"

"Cool I reply " as I give her a very tight hug.

(Natalie Greg is my bestie. We look so much alike sometimes we are often mistaken as twins. She has a light green set of eyes, a curly long dark almond coloured hair, full lips and a dimple on each cheek and she loves sports, while I love singing and dancing. That's the only difference between

us.

As we were going for our first class, we see a new boy who looked fresh and so cute. I thought of being friends with him. He looked like this:

I was kind of staring at him, when Natalie shakes me vigorously

"Melly don't tell me you have a new crush?"

she says smiling broadly.

"Don't be a jerk, I don't even . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

(the stupid bell rings). I get my books and head to my class. As we got to class I take the third seat on the third row and Natalie sits at my back the new boy walks into the class and sits by my side.

He comes over to my seat .

"Hi am Jaden Brown" he says with a thick smile as he extends His hand towards me.

"Melissa Beaumont" I say as i shake his hand.

"Can we be friends ?" he asks.

"Well . . . . . . . . . ." I begin as our Geometry teacher Mr. Robert walks into the class. After a boring one hour the Bell is rung.

Jaden's POV

I was a fresher at Greenville's Senior High and I was kind of lonely.

(I had just moved from California to Florida) i had earlier gone to the principal's office and I was just walking out when I see two pretty Girl's by their lockers.

As i walk past them,I notice they both looked like twins.

I also notice that they both stare at me. I walk hurriedly to my class and sit down

Few minutes later, one of the Girl's I had earlier seen comes in and sits beside me.

"Hi am Jaden Brown" I said as I go to her side .

"Oh am Melissa Beaumont " she replies before the teacher walks in.

Melissa's POV

M-E-L-I-S-S-A!!!! I hear the teacher scream I notice I had been staring at Jaden. He has a rich light brown hair, sweet pink lips and he was newly tanned with sparkling blue eyes.

After the Geometry period was up, we neatly file into the gym.

We continue our little discussion. He tells me he's newly relocated and lives in Savannah Delight Estate on the tenth house

(This was after I had agreed to be friends with him).

During recess me and Natalie spot him sitting alone and we walk towards him

"Hey Jaden this is my best friend Natalie Greg.

"Natalie, Jaden, I said as they shake

As we were talking, the number one

school sassy Queen bee Linda Torres and her two clones Lizzie Daniel and Lola Scott cat walked over to our lunch table.

Linda's POV

I was walking with my two friends towards our table when the sight of a handsome muscular tall boy caught my eyes.

I looked at who he was laughing with when I noticed him laughing with two jerks Melissa Beaumont and Natalie Greg.

I snapped my fingers and catwalked towards their table. The smell of what she was eating made me wanna throw up. I ignored that and went towards the boy.

"Hey dearie, I said while gently putting my hand on his shoulder. I noticed the look of jealously on Melissa's face as I advanced to his collar bone.

"I'm Linda Torres"I say in an over sweet voice.

" I'm Jaden Brown" he said in a not too deep baritone voice.

"Well I wanted to invite you over to my weekend pool party this Friday " I said.

"Thanks but am kinda busy " I heard Melissa say.

"Don't be a rotten jerk why would I invite you to my party" I said harshly turning back to Jaden.

"Uhmm thanks but am going to be a super busy this weekend" he said as I caught a smirk on Melissa's face.

I cross eyeball Melissa and snap my finger and I sashay out of the cafeteria.

Melissa's POV

She left sashaying with her nose in the air followed by her clones. I was kind of happy

that he declined.

The next period was art and I was sad that he was not in that class. I packed my books with Natalie and we headed over to the art studio

The last period was Biology and it was a general subject we hurriedly head to the lab. I sat near Sam. Mr Albertò came in holding our Biology practical textbooks.

"Good morning students" he greeted.

"Good morning sir" we responded in unison as he started distributing them .

"You have five minutes to pick your lab partners." He said.

I wanted to go over to Natalie, but before I could get to her seat ,

"Would you be my lab partner" I heard a soft baritone voice say behind me .

I turn and see its Jaden

"Well...............I start

" Yes she would " Natalie bumped into me saying

I nudged her softly on her side and noticed she was standing with Shane

"Okay I will" I say softly while going to my desk.

The rest of the day was pretty swell

After school, me and Natalie met Jaden as we walking towards the parking lot.

We see him at the door of a black Ferrari

"Well I wanted to know if its okay for me to drop you guys home" he says.

"Its okay by me I say.

Me too Natalie replies

As we hopped into his car, I caught a glimpse of Linda and her clones entering her private Limo.

I think I saw her blowing a kiss to Jaden (what's wrong with this girl )I thought.

We get to Natalie's house first and we drop her and zoom off .

"So what should I call you Lisa or Melly?" he says

"Well I think I 'll go with Lisa".I say.

"So Lisa where do you stay?" he asks.

When we get there, he admires the size of our house. But not to boast, we have a private swimming pool where I have my pool party each year.

I hop out and wave at him and quickly I run towards the house. As usual I greet Charlotte our nanny and stop at Max's room for a quick scratch on his soft fluffy stomach.

I go up to my room to have a nice long hot shower. After which I put on something casual and I go down to have lunch. As usual, Derek was watching TV in the basement.

After lunch, I walk up to my room and I slide in a movie into my video player and I bounce on my bed to watch it.....................................................

When I wake up its 6 o'clock already. I go downstairs and greet my parents.

"Hey mom"

"Hey Babe,Guess what?

"You know i'm not good at guessing" I say.

"Well just try "she says.

"Okay I say. You're pregnant I say causing a broad smile to fall on dad's face.

"Nope try again "

"Urgh, just spill it mom" I say worn out.

"Okay you know that company I have been trying to be their main event planner and also fashion designer for their model's wears, she says with a pause. Well they just called yesterday and said I was qualified for that post" she said screaming at the end.

" Wow!!! Are you serious? I'm happy for you mom I say.

"Thanks dear" she says.

"Okay everyone go up and go look nice we are going out to celebrate" my dad says chirping in.

I go upstairs to find a suitable outfit. Not long I settle on a short red gown that looked okay for the outing with silver stiletto heels, light makeup and I pull my hair in a bun.





"Girl you look goooddd, I say to myself while looking in the mirror.

"I think I'll agree with that too" my mom says walking in wearing a show back blue gown, with black heels and medium makeup.



"Looking good mom" I say.

"Thanks bae,you too".she says.

"Are you guys done?" My dad shouts impatiently from downstairs.

"Almost hun,we'll be down in a sec. She says.

We head over to Jolly Jack's and we each have a bite of cheesy burgers with soda's for the kids which made me angry because I was called one, and diluted alcohol for my parents.

We saw my favourite celebrity Joe Russ doing a promo for the Jolly Jack's and tossing one of their big sized cheeseburger down his throat and wiping his mouth with a napkin.

After many series of photo shoots, I finally get the chance to ask him for his autograph.

The rest of the day went pretty well............................................,.....................................

I wake up early the next morning and I go for jogging and I was listening to one of Ariana

Grande's biggest album on the latest version of my MP3 player.

"Phew" I exclaim as I open the front porch door and enter the kitchen. I grab a bottle of water from the refrigerator .

I walk up the stairs to take a cold shower. It was a Saturday and I was going to the school's dinner party today I hadn't chosen a dress yet.

"Hello Babe" my mom says as she walks in and pecks me lightly on my cheek.

"Yes mom, please can you help me choose an outfit I say holding up a red mini gown and a purple- little -above the knee gown.

" This one" she says pointing at the purple gown. I select a silver stilleto heel to go with it.

I also select a purple ribbon to hold my hair in a bun and I braid the edges of my light brown hair. I fall on my bed dose off until.............................................................

"Gring, gring, gring my phone rings.

I raise my head up and look at who is calling. I saw Natalie's name flash across the screen.

"Hey bae, I guess you already know why I called" she says.

"Yeah,Yeah to remind me like always I say laughing.

"So what are you doing" she asks.

"I was sleeping before you rudely interrupted me with your call". I said laughing at my own little joke.

" Sorry dear, let me leave you to continue sleeping, I know you don't joke with your sleep. Bye" she says and she

hangs up on me.

She has a rude habit of doing that most times.

I had gone to Natalie's house earlier to pick her up. We get to the school event Hall time to see it already beautifully decorated with balloons and ribbons.

I see Jaden approaching me wearing a cool silver suit with black glasses and matching shoes. He winks at me while walking past us and I wave with a broad smile.



I think Natalie saw this cause I heard her giggling behind me and I turn back at her and we go to get our smoothies.

As usual Linda Torres was fretting about the dumb flavor of smoothie.

Me and Natalie walk over to the smoothie bar and go to the smoothie guy after Linda leaves with her clique all wearing matching pink gowns with Linda's looking the most fashionable. Too bad cause she doesn't deserve it, but what can I do.

I order a strawberry and kiwi smoothie mix. While Natalie chooses a pineapple and orange blend smoothie.

We walk over to a table and sit down enjoying the day as music was played.

The beat of the music changes as I finish my smoothie. Some seconds later I see Jaden walking towards me.

I feel somehow remembering how I always act weird around him and can't keep a straight face when ever we are talking.

"Hey,Lisa and Natalie." He says with a cute voice.

"Oh , hey Jaden" I say trying to sound as casual as I can but I still end up sounding weird.

"Hey, Jaden, Wassup?Natalie asks

" I'm cool "he replies.

" Well I just remembered that I have some important business to attend to" she says standing up and then "Well I guess that leaves only me and you" he says.

" it sure does" I say. I continue enjoying my smoothie.

" Lisa, did anyone tell you how pretty you look today?he asks unexpectedly flattering me.

" Well, except my mom,no other person has.

" Let me be the first to say it then. You look beautiful Lisa" he says.

"Awwn,thank you, I say trying to cover the patches of pink that had formed on my cheeks.

As we continue talking, I catch Natalie whispering something to the DJ. The music immediately changes to a slow one. She giggles while looking in my direction.

I see people partnering up to dance to the slow rhythm of the music.

"Do you care for a dance? He says surprisingly.

"Uhmm, I'm not really a good dancer" I say

"Don't worry, it's easy I'll teach you. There is nothing to be scared of" he replies.

"Okay I'll try my best" I say. But I apologize in advance if I step on your toes. I say with laugh.

We head towards the middle of the dance floor. I hear gasps as people make way for us.

We start dancing and I felt a little bit guilty for lieing that I couldn't dance. After like ten minutes, we go back to sit down our chairs which now seems farther.

"Well, for a first timer, you did absolutely well".He says sarcastically nodding his head and talking.

Okay, you got me, I might know a little bit of dance moves. I say.
