Battle of the Warehouse

Jake is expecting Raven to arrive alone.

We will use her to distract him while the rest of us close in on him .

We arrive and quickly and quietly take out the guard by the door. Raven and I keep our link open as she goes in alone . Or at least Jake will suspect her to be alone .

My men quickly surround the building, and set up their post. Raven enters the large empty space, where she was instructed to meet Jake .

" I am here , now where is Rylan?" She ask him .

" Well look who showed up. " He hisses at her .

" I will spare the boys life but only after you have complied, put these on". He says throwing a set of silver handcuffs her way .

Once she has the handcuffs on it will prevent her from escaping and suppress her wolf from being able to shift.

She does as he says .

" Okay , now tell me what you have done with him?" She ask pretending to be concerned.

I know she's acting, but Axel is raging with jealously.

" It seems that your human boy toy has, ran off. No worry, we will deal with him after you are delivered to the king," Jake laughs.

" You're dirty, you never planned to let him live, even with me trading my life for his. Did you?" She spits at him.

Raven's job is to keep the remaining three vampires distracted while the rest of us can enter the space undetected.

" No , no we did not. The boy is a liability. You know that humans Are forbidden to knowing about the supernatural world she-wolf." Jake hisses .

He grabs Raven's face to examine her .

" Oh I do believe the king will be pleased, We have a long journey, I don't see why I can't have a little fun with you in the mean time." He growls in a seductive voice.

This is enough to make Axel go into complete rage mode. We charge on the clueless vampires.

Jake grabs Raven by the hair and rushes her to a side door . Tucker and Ronald charge after one of the vampire goons. Before they can take him done he shoots at them hitting Ronald.

Ronald falls to the floor. Tucker rips the vampires head from his shoulders before he can fire a second shot.

Two of the other members of my pack have taken down and beheaded the third vampire .

I chase after Jake and Raven . Tucker and I catch up to him right as he's about to shove Raven into his truck .

He pulls a pistol from his waist band and aims it at her head .

My heart falls. This is exactly what I feared when Raven insisted she come.

" It seems that we are at a cross roads Alpha" Jake hisses .

I shift back to human form.

" Name your price , Vampire. Let her go and we will let you live." I roar in my Alpha tone.

"I can not be bought with your money mutt, I will return with the Luna or pay with my life. You can either allow me to leave with her alive and spare my life now. Or I will shoot her and we both loose our lives tonight" He hisses .

I look into Raven's eyes and I can see her plea. I mind link Anderson and instruct him to sneak behind Jake to disable him.

I keep him distracted and keep playing like I don't have a plan .

" Is one Luna really with all of this trouble to your king? Does he not realize the chance of a mated Luna producing his own off spring are slim to none?" I plea with Jake .

I see Raven's cheeks flush red, and she stumbles backward. No not now , not here .

Her heat is hitting her.

" Perfect timing, it appears your precious Luna is beginning to come into heat . Our king will be pleased. this will make it much easier to convince her to lay with him." Jake laughs .

" Jameson, I'm sorry." she cries .

Her scent is over powering and it's taking everything in me not to rush to her. Anderson arrives just in time .

He knocks the pistol from Jakes hand and Tucker quickly subdues him .

I want to rip Jakes head from his shoulders but doing so would compromise the potential of finding the king and disposing of him for good .

My thoughts are quickly pulled away when another heat wave comes over Raven .

A few of my unmated warriors have caught her scent.

" Back the f**k off , I will kill you if you even try to touch her" I roar. My warriors bow in submission and I quickly uncuff her and catch her as she's about to double over in pain from her heat .

Anderson and tucker tie up the vampire and I instruct them to deliver him to the dungeon.

I throw Raven into Jakes truck and speed toward home.

I hold Raven close as wave of heat crash through her , I know I need to get her some where safe and help her.

I mind link Tucker.

" I had to get her out of there, please take care of Ronald's body , I need to properly honor him for his sacrifice tonight. Burn the other three. we will deal with Jake soon." I tell them before I shut the mind link.

Raven's POV :

I knew my heat could come early after being marked , but I didn't expect it to hit so hard with out warning. Jameson holding me gives me a small amount of relief momentarily. That is until another wave of heat crashes through me . I feel like my skin is on fire and my c**t Is swollen begging to be touched .

" It hurts!" I cry in pain .

" I know babe , I'm driving as fast as I can , I will help you as soon as it's safe". Jameson says in a concerned voice .

I need to do something I can't stand the fire pulsing through me.

Another wave hits hard and fast I cry out once more .

Jameson Turns off onto a dirt road and pulls the truck over . He unbuttons his jeans and I already know what he's doing . I quicky strip off the leggings I was wearing and straddle his manhood. He growls a feral husky growl when my scent hits him .

My heat is torture for us both .

I quickly set myself over him allowing his member to stretch me to my breaking point. Then he slowly begins thrusting his hips upward toward me allowing more of himself inside. Heat makes a she-wolf more sensitive then normal and I quickly find a my release.

Jameson grabs me by the hair and slams his lips into mine . His thrust are harder and deeper now and before long we both find climax . Jameson's knot swells and he fills me with his seed. my heat is subdued for now.

As soon as we can separate Jameson heads toward home .

" I'm sorry I shouldn't have come tonight." I whisper.

" No you needed to be here , we couldn't have captured the vampire without you. Let's just focus on getting home and keeping your heat down." He says.

He's right they wouldn't have caught Jake without me . But I put so many in danger tonight . Not to me too coming into heat with so many unmated worriers present wasn't ideal . Poor Ronald . His family will know what a true hero he was .

Jameson can read my thoughts though out mate bond .

" Ronald died in the line of duty . He was a true hero, he gave his life to protect his luna , I will make sure his pups and his mate are well taken care of. Rest now baby. we will be home and safe soon. "

I lay my head against his muscular chest and doze off .

I wake up to being carried though out suite door. My heat is still subdued but I can feel it slowly creeping back. Jameson carries me to the tub and runs a large bath of cool water . He undressed me and helps me into the tub before entering behind me .

I hate that my heat had come at the worst possible time . I feel selfish to only be thinking about s*x and my mate. I need to speak to The men who saved me and to Ronald's family to offer my condolences.

" Shhhh , stop worrying, you are safe and we will make it right in a few days once your heat has passed." Jameson whippers as he kisses the top of my head .

I can feel the fire building again . My body flashes with heat and by the time I'm washed out bath water is warm from my flushed skin .

Jameson carries me to the bed . His skin feels nice and cool and inviting against my redd hot flesh. He doesn't even bother to dry us before placing me down and using his lips to cool my heated skin. His touch beings me so much comfort.

Heats are mother nature's way of ensuring that Wolf's breed and produce pups. Any unmated werewolf would be driven insane by the hormones a she-wolf produces when in heat. Heats are so painful and uncomfortable that a she-wolf would be willing to let any male help her take away the pain. Thankfully Jameson had Tucker and Anderson with him tonight both are mated , his other men stood down once Jameson used his Alpha tone. I just praise the moon goddess that they were able to rescue me. I can't imagine being delivered to the king vampire in heat .

Jameson and I spend the next three days in our Room. Becca or Tucker bring food. But we spend most of our time completely wrapped in each other. All unmated wolves are banned from our floor. I wake on the Fourth day to my relief that my heat has passed. usually a heat is 5-7 days so I'm nervous as to why it would have subdued in only three. If I had to guess it would be because I'm probably carrying Jameson's pups.

I panic at the though. I was so worried about my heat I didn't even think to protect myself from pregnancy. I push the though to the back of my mind hoping I'm just blessed to have gotten a short heat, since it was early. By the time my heat has faded I'm sick of our suite. My body is sore from all the matting that we have done.

It's early and the sun is just peaking over the clouds. Jameson and I are completely naked except for the thin sheet covering us. I try to sneak out of bed but he grabs me and pulls me close to him .

" Not today Alpha", I protest .

" I see your feeling better," he teases.

" I want to go check on Kayla and Rylan, He should be almost through his turning. I think it's time we go talk to Jake and also plan a service for Ronald." I tell him .

" We need to plan your Luna ceremony as well dear." He mumbles back sleepily.

" Yes, that too." I laugh .

" Go ahead and check on Kayla and Rylan. we will meet back here to talk to Jake and then we will have a pack meeting this evening to honor Ronald and announce your Luna ceremony and what we plan to do about Alpha bryant. Oh and don't worry babe you'll be a great mother to our pups" He teases.

Damn this mate bond . I hate that he can always tell what I'm thinking .

" If there are pups." I say rubbing my forehead .

Jameson and I grab a quick shower and I quicky head out. Spending all that time together was nice but I need a break from him at least for a few hours .

We also need a new bed frame since ours had been reduced to a mattress in the floor and splinters. I send Becca a quick text to tell her what my plans are and she agrees to come with me .

We meet up in the hallways and head downstairs toward the guest cabin .

" So what was it like" Becca ask .

She's yet to have her first heat and I know she's curious. Plus being my bestie she's looking for all the juicy details .

" It was scarry at first , mostly because it came so quick and unexpected. I didn't have time to process what was happing before it hit. And it hurt like hell. Until we got back home. Then it was the best 3 days. If you think s*x with your mate is good , just wait for s*x with your mate during heat. Everything is intensified x 10." I inform her.

" Did you use protection or should I expect a pup shower soon," she jokes .

"um yeah I didn't exactly think about that till this morning, We just have to wait and see I guess." I tell her kicking the ground .

Becca knows that I didn't plan on having pups until I got to enjoy my mate for a little while . we had talked about it many times during our long walks.

" Oh , it will be okay Raven. The moon goddess will know if the time was right.

We both know it's highly likely since heat is designed especially for producing pups.

Luckily Becca changes the subject and we talk like we used to before when we were school girls.

Before long we arrive at the cabin. Kayla is out front on the porch swing drinking her morning coffee. She smiles when she's sees us approaching . "It's nice to see you Luna" She says bowing her head. Kayla is much more likeable when she's not challenging my mate bond. " We brought donuts from the pack house kitchen. I hope everything is going smoothly here." I say with a warm smile. Kayla takes the pastries and smiles . " Thank you so much for coming to check on us. The pack doctor is here now . He's sedated Rylan for the last few hours of his transformation. He has done wonderful , but the pain of his first shift was a little much for him. He should be waking soon, If you would like to see him." She tells us.

" I would like to stay and personally thank him for the information that was given. It helped ups hopefully get a step closer to the king, and it also uncovered Alpha Bryant." I tell her .

" Of course Luna. would you guys like some coffee while we wait?" She ask .

Kayla gets us both some coffee and we spend the morning talking on the front porch with her.

It's nice to have some down time after all the drama. We are enjoying our girl time when Dr. Jones walks outside.

" Luna , it's nice to see you this morning." He cheerfully says smiling at us.

" Good morning Dr.Jones" I smile back .

" Ms. Kayla , the sedation is wearing off, I think you should be in the room when he wakes. His heart is strong and it appears that his transformation is complete. It's now up to him." Dr. Jones informs Kayla on Rylan .

Kayla, Becca and I head inside to check in on Rylan.

This is the hardest part for a human who has been turned. The first shift takes a lot out of even natural born wolves. As a human being turned this stage is the worst part. Shifting for the first time is extremely hard. All the bones in your body feel broken as they twist and contort into the your wolf.

Dr. Jones has sedated Rylan to help him speed up his healing from the shift to and from his wolf. It is possible that he will not wake up. Rylan has a strong heart beat which is a good sign, but if doesn't mean he's out of the woods yet.

Becca and I sit quietly in support as Kayla holds her mates hand. She talks to him and soothes him. I am happy for the two of them to have found each other . I always worried about the possibility that I wouldn't be his mate and how he would handle my rejection if that was the case . I am glad the moon goddess has given him his own mate, and that Kayla has found hers as well.

Rylan's Pov:

I can hear the beeping of a heart monitor. I sense that people are here . Kayla is holding my hand and the electric charge from the mate bond is twenty times stronger then before I was turned.

My body aches all over. I had my first shift a few days ago and I hope it gets easier. I don't know if I can handle the feeling of every bone in my body breaking at the same time.

"It will get easier with time." I hear a sleepy voice yawn.

" who are you"? I reply to the voice in my head .

" Silly, I am your other half . I am Jax your wolf." The voice chuckle.

" It's time to wake up now. We have had plenty of time to rest " He comands me .

I do as he says and my eyes creep open. I see Kayla first, but then I see Raven and her friend Becca across the room from us.

I knew she wouldn't let me die , but I didn't expect her to care enough to check in on me. Gratitude and respect wash over me.

Kayla realizes my eyes have opened and I can see the tiredness in her face . She must have been so worried. Any feelings of romance between Raven and I are gone. My whole heart belongs to Kayla. I don't know how I ever lived a life without her in it. The universe brought us together and I will never let anything stand between us again .

" Thank the goddess your awake, I was so worried ." Kayla says as she leans down and kisses my head.

" I couldn't leave you." I replied to her squeezing her hand.

" Rylan I'm and glad you made it though your turning. Welcome to our pack . I wanted to be here to give my appreciation personally. Because of you Jameson knows the name of the Alpha who started all this." Raven respectfully speaks to me.

" Luna I owe you my life. I apologize for being a part of the plan to take you down . I hope that from here on out we can be friends." I replied.

" I would like that . Now on a more serious note all members of the pack are required to contribute. Jameson and I will give you time to recover and to spend with your mate. However next week I would like you to start training with the warriors. I know that you were a strong human , therefore your wolf will intensify that. You now have a target on your back with the vampires. I would love for you to have the knowledge and skills to defend not only yourself and your mate , but this pack if need be." Raven says.

I humbly accept her offer. Becca and Raven congratulate Kayla and I before politely excusing themselves.
