The entrance into the Dire wasn’t what Aron had expected. Although, he did expect the lighting to suck much worse than it did back in the more civilized parts of Hell. Here, it consisted of a menagerie of fissures zig-zagging in various cracks along the sandy ground, emanating a red pulsing glow from the lava flow underground, making anything they looked at blemish with a rosy tint. So, they weren't in total darkness, which was a plus. Seeing in the dark wasn’t an issue since most of the group had the innate ability.
