She loved this time of year, when the lights and decorations transformed the concrete jungle into a winter wonderland.But Holly's mind wasn't on the holiday cheer. She was preoccupied with the latest email from her boss, which had just landedin her inbox."Holly, we need you to take on a new project" the email read. "High-profile client,high-stakes wedding. We're counting on you to make it perfect."Holly sighed, rubbing her temples. She was an event planner, not a miracle worker. But she knew better than to argue with her boss.She picked up her phone and dialed herassistant's number. "Hey, Rachel? I need you to book a flight to...where's the wedding again?"Rachel's voice came through the line,cheerful as always. "Ski resort town of Willow Creek, Holly. I've already booked your flight and arra r a car to pickeyou up at the airport Holly nodded, even though Rachel couldn't see her. "Great, thanks. I'll need you to send Over the client's files and""Holly, I've already sent everything to youremail" Rachel interrupted. "You're all set."Holly smiled, grateful for her efficientassistant. "Thanks, Rachel. You're life saver."As she hung up the phone, Holly felt a thirty of excitement mixed with a dash of trepidation. She had a feeling that this wedding was going to be a challenge unlike any she'd faced before.As Holly delved into the client's files, she was struck by the sheer scale of the wedding. The bride, a socialite namedSophia, was marrying into one of the wealthiest families in the country. The guest list was a Who's Who of celebrities,politicians, and business moguls.Holly's eyes widened as she scrolled through hrough the itinerary. The wedding wasgoing to be a three-day extravaganza,complete with a private concert, a fireworks display, and a reception at theresort's luxurious ballroom.But as Holly read on, she began to feel a sense of unease.
