Minute 88
The word Redemption came to mind when I got to the bench and Coach Studer asked me to stay after everybody went away.
“How do you feel, Lynx?” He was happy for me but also serious.
“Doing very well, coach, thanks.” I replied still blushing from all the attention.
“I guess you must be doing incredibly well.” He retorted.
“I feel happy but at the same time, like, I don’t really know what to do now.”
“I guess…” he was about to continue with pleasantries but instead got to the point, “look, Lynx, I had to report you to the club administration.”
“What?” I was confused. “What does that… do you, do you mean?”
“I had to do it. In a way, you stole a place from a boy that perhaps could have had only one chance in life to be a goalkeeper, and he will never be.”
