I won't have this girl here any longer brother get her out of here. She reaks of trouble. Have you not read your email lately. She's a wanted wolf. We will not put your life on hold for nonsense.
A man was bickering in the halls of the dungeon. There were two sets of footsteps, but only one voice yapping. Piper tried to eavesdrop on the conversation to get ahead of her capter's plans. She pretended to be asleep when the two sets of footsteps stopped at her gate.
Standing in front of her were two men who were identical twins, Jamison and Jarrod, the pack alphas. Jarrod glared at Piper laying still on the danty cot. "Get up!"
His alpha voice almost made her trimble inside. She stood up looking at his physique. So tall dark and handsome she blurted out as she licked her lips. Her body began to pool with lust for him.
Jamison walked out infront of Jarrod." This is our only time asking you, Why we're you hanging around our lands?"
Piper just blaintly said, " Ask the little girl that bumped into me."
Jarrod looked at Jamison with question in his eyes. Their beasts started to communicate with mind link. She must have ran into your daughter bro, find out what happened I'll be right back.
Jarrod left the dungeon in search for his niece Layla. She would know if the woman was a danger. She was only gona for twenty minutes and God knows how long the woman was there with her. He had to find out what happened in the woods before he made a decision.
Jarrod was just about to walk into the pack house when his father Alpha Kye stopped him dead in his tracks blocking the doorway. "Going somewhere son?" he asked Jarrod.
Jarrod just swallowed the thick lump in his throat. "Father excuse me I have business to attend to with our dear Layla, this is dire issues." Jarrod tried to pass off the subtle tone but his father could read right through it.
Layla skipped right along the side of the pack house humming while licking an ice cream pop that was melted all over her hands.
Jarrod seen Layla from his periphial and excused himself from Kye's presence. He jogged towards Layla to catch up with her,snatching her by the arm. Layla was caught by surprise at her uncles actions.
"Layla, wait Unc wants to ask you something," he said softly.
"Do you remember a wolf outside by the woods? Did she try to hurt or ask you for anything?" Did she make you try to leave with her?" Jarrod asked the questions with a strong tone so that Layla knew it wasn't a game.
Layla just shook her head no to everything and replied " the wolf nice and pretty can I play with?"
Jarrod shook his head no but his eyes were expressing his shock.
Uncle Jarr can I get nother ice pop? Layla begged.
Jarrod smiled and sent her on the way towards the pack house while he pulled out his phone to check his email.
at the top of his notifications in big bold letters there was a wanted email for piper. her picture was posted in an attachment. The must not have been able to catch her since they had no clue what her wolf looked like.
Piper hadn't shifted before until the night she left, and since then she'd been on the go. No one knew what her wolf looked like or that it was her until now.
Jarrod let his curiosity get to him and fixed a glass of water then walked back down to the dungeon.
Piper lunged at Jamison baring her canines hoping he would get intimidated at her strength. He giggled as she scoffed at him.
Jarrod walked towards Piper offering her a deal; back story, food, and water or death. He smiled confidently but it was short lived as Piper noticed a third scent. It was the True alpha of the pack.
Kye walked down into the dungeon after following his son and seen a naked woman bare to the core, looking like she hadn't been able to bathe or eat a proper meal in ages. The twins didn't notice until Piper turned into her human form that there was another presence near.
She tried to keep her calm and present herself as a strong but maintained lady. Kye completely saw past her facade.
"You have one option only there is no second, join my pack and live," Kye demanded. His sons looked confused. Jamison tried to plea and beg for her to be turned in to their wolf authorities via mind link. Even though Jamison and Jarrod were twins Jamison was more of a worrier than Jarrod.
Piper pondered on the idea of being free again then accepted with out asking further questions. As soon as she said yes Kye hit her with a tranquilizer and pulled the wolfsbane collar from a bag with his leather glove.
The twins just stared at one another for a second and began to look towards their father for further instructions.
Kye called for his guards to bring Piper to the cabins by the pond for evaluation and intake. The lust in Piper and Jarrods eyes made his decision easy. Kye knew his son found his mate before Jarrod even knew. It was time for his son to realize it for himself.
