It had been over a week since we left Blue Lake and I had watched Isabella become more and more saddened. She really wanted to build a relationship with Kiera and it broke my heart a little that I knew it could never happen. When Kiera was born, Isabella wanted to keep her, she wanted her to stay in the Palace where we could keep her close and fight any threat that came her way. She was so precious and had such a bright future ahead of her, but I just needed her gone. Back then, I only wanted a son - an heir.
