{Kiera's P.O.V}
I woke up by the sound of Jenson's voice,
"We are here, princess".
I open my eyes slowly, adjusting to the light to be greeted with his bright blue eyes looking down at me. A slight side smile forms on his lips as my eyes catch his. As I look up, I study his face a little more and realise how handsome this man actually is. He has what seems to be a perfect face, his jaw line is strong and masculine, his nose sits perfectly centered and symmetrical on his face with the cutest button tip and those eyes... I could quite easily look at him all day! He catches me staring and I quickly pull myself back to reality, my eyes widen with embarrassment and I look down and blush slightly.
What am I doing? I don't even know this man and I'm staring at him like he's the first man I've ever seen.
I lift my head again and look out the car window,. We had pulled up in the most amazing place. There was a giant gravel circle, centered with a grass roundabout. Upon it lived a family of ever green plants. Further in the distance, grass hills, lined with trees filled the space. I could hear the songs of the birds whispering in the cool spring breeze. I reposition my head to the front of the vehicle and a large lake spread across the surface, glistening from the overhead sun. Tiny ripples caressed the surface dancing along with the breeze.
Pulling me from my thoughts Jenson speaks,
"Shall, we head in?"
Confused, I turn myself around looking out the window to the left. I have had my back to the window this whole time and had missed the four story house behind me. I open my mouth wide, feeling slightly overwhelmed. Jenson must sense this and starts to rub my back.
"Don't worry princess, we can take our time."
I still don't say a word, too confused about how my day has turned out. Then it hits me. Why would this man bring me here? What does he want with me? Will I have to be a slave to this giant pack? I look at him again and realise he is so much bigger than Dex and I worry if I'd be able to fight this man off me.
How could I have been so naive? What does this man possibly see in me, to be so nice to me. I realise its a trap and know I need to think fast. I need to run but I don't know how we got here. The forest looks dense though and I think I could probably hide out somewhere if I manage to slip away. Or maybe I could try swimming through the lake?
I decide its time to get out and weigh up my options so I look at Jenson and nod, making him know I'm ready to get out the car.
He opens the door and climbs out first, holding the door open for me. I look back and notice the road leads through the forest, I guess if I follow the tree line close to the road I'll be able to find my way back out.
Grabbing my hand and pulling me from my thoughts Jenson motions his other hand for me to walk up the marble steps that sit at the front of the pack house.
I instantly panic and pull my hand out of his, my breathing getting heavier and I stumble back a few steps. I see the hurt in his eyes but can't risk being trapped inside again. I break eye contact and quickly turn on my heels and run, as fast as I can towards the forest. I feel the gravel shifting under my feet and hear someone else moving the gravel behind me, they must be chasing me. I hadn't managed to get very far before I felt myself being picked up again and held tightly. I couldn't control my emotions and I started to cry. My face hits Jenson's hard chest, he had one arm around my waist and another around my head. I move my hands, pounding them on his chest, trying to fight but there's no use. He's too strong and patient.
"Why am I here?!" I scream as tears fall to the floor.
"I can't be your slave... I won't be... you can't lock me up again... let me go!" I know I must sound so weak and pathetic but I can't help the words falling from my mouth.
Jenson pulls his head back and looks at me with eyes both hurt and confused.
"You think you're my slave? I would never do that to you... I told you, this is your home."
I stop fighting him and look up at his face again.
"My home? You expect me to believe you..." I shout.
"Yes, your home. I am Alpha Jenson Rivers. Welcome to the Blue Lake Pack". He says proudly.
"Alpha?" I squint my eyes at him with confusion and finally calm down enough for him to speak.
Jenson laughs slightly before speaking again.
"Sorry. I didn't want to scare you anymore today so decided I would tell you after you got some rest. But I didn't expect you to try and run away. I thought you'd be happy to be out of that house."
Again, my mouth goes dry and the words stop forming. I'm held captive to my own silence once more. I look past Jenson and see the driver just leaning on the car, watching over us. Jenson turns his head to see what I'm looking at.
"Princess, that's Dylan. He is my Beta and best friend. He wont hurt you either. As his future Luna, he will protect you with his life."
LUNA?! My eyes widen again, my face scrunched slightly as I try to take all of this in. I must be dreaming right?
Before I know it, my head feels light and fuzzy. I've not eaten or drank anything today and the adrenaline in my body takes its toll on me. I push back against Jenson again, craving space but before I know it, my hearing fizzes and my sight goes dark, I put my hands out infront of me trying to feel the air around me but I feel myself sway instead and stumble before finally passing out.

{Jenson's P.O.V}
I stood there looking sympathetically into Kieras beautiful marbled eyes. Every time I look at her I think I fall more in love, she is perfect.
I couldn't believe she thought I had kidnapped her, she couldn't have been happy living in that house... but maybe she was... maybe she wasn't suppose to be locked down there. The house was pretty clean inside... no, I can't talk myself out of this, she was clearly scared and the door was hidden behind the fridge there was just no way it was an accident.
I shook the thoughts to the back of my mind as Kiera pushes me back again. She doesn't look too good at all and its all my fault... maybe I should have waited to tell her all of this, its alot to take in.
I go to step back and give her some room but notice her swaying slightly. I scrunch my eyebrows up confused at whats happening to her when she suddenly falls. I catch her instinctively before she hits the ground.
I scoop her up so I'm now carrying her bridal style and carry her over to Dylan.
"She seems to have passed out from all the stress, I'm taking her to see Dr Davis" I tell him.
"OK, I'll put the car into the garage and meet you there" he replied with slight concern lacing his voice.
I make my way to the pack hospital and mind link Dr Davis to meet me at the front. As soon as we get there he tells me to go straight through to one of the treatment rooms. Dr Davis is a brilliant doctor and has been working for the pack since he completed medical school decades ago, there isn't much he hasn't seen anymore.
After a good 20 minutes Dr Davis seems to have completed his observation.
"Well, your friend here seems to be exhausted. She has a few injuries that should heal on their own in a short time but she more than anything just needs fluid and rest" he says confidently.
"Oh, thank the moon Goddess, she is ok" I say letting our a breath I hadn't realised I was holding.
"I'll ask one of the nurses to pop an IV drip in for fluids and if anything changes you let me know. She must be very special to you, for you to have rushed her in yourself..." he says as a question more than a statement.
"She is... she is my perfect little mate" I say with a smile creeping across my face once again.
"Congratulations Alpha, I am very happy for you both. Now if anything changes at all, you let me know. She is my number one priority" he says softly as he turns to leave.
"Thank you doctor... one more thing... how long will she be out for?" I ask seeming impatient.
"Hard to tell really, just until her body has caught up a little with the exhaustion" he says smiling.
I nod to him and turn to face my beautiful mate.
Now we wait...
