Elina's POV
I groaned as Avery tossed me on my back for maybe the hundredth time today. We are in the Kaleb's backyard and he's teaching me self-defense. I could fight and hold my own but he keeps reminded me that who I'm fighting are supernatural beings and not human beings. I jumped up from my position and eyed him.
"What if we fight without you using your powers?" I asked him
"You're an Hybrid so you're stronger than I am. Not happening" He said chuckling. "But, you could always take Hailee on" He added
"I'm totally capable of taking her on, let's do it then" I said to him. Hailee walked over to us dropping her weapons on the floor.
"I'll go easy on you baby sis" She said smirking. I squinted my eyes at her then kicked her in the stomach.
"I don't do easy Hails" I said then laughe
