Omniscient POV
After coming back from the night out with Elina and Maggie, Emery was laying in bed not sure what to do about his situation with his parents. It made him angry at how they were treating his brother. It was currently 7 hours away from the time his parents would get ready to go to church and had finally made up his mind to pay them a visit.
He couldn't just stand by and let them treat him or his brother this way. He was quite aware that he is an adult now and they cannot make him do anything he isn't comfortable doing. He is already adjusting to the life he's living now being able to do what he wants and have actual fun. He still read his bible and prayed because he did believe there was a God out there.
