“Amelia, can we just talk, I can explain.” Max started, but it only made want to walk faster.
“There is no excuse for what you did Maxwell,” I turn towards him when I finish crossing the street.
“You should be in jail right now. And if vivian and Brielle knew what I know, they wouldn’t welcome you back either.” I turned back towards the school, crossing the parking lot at a quick pace, but Maxwell stayed close behind.
“Amelia, I’m sorry for what you went through, but I promise I can explain.” He said as I entered the school building and he instantly went quiet, I don’t know why, because everyone has left the school building by now, except for a few lucky students such as myself, not that I was complaining because his voice sounded like a personal drug, and I would lose my determination pretty soon, if he didnt stop talking.
I walked to the classroom, but Maxwell was still very close to me.
I can't believe he's still following.
“Will you leave? I have an exam to take, and I don’t need unpleasant distractions.” I say in a hush voice as I see mr.walterburg is already inside.
“Is he a new teacher?” Maxwell said his tone suddenly became very serious. but I brush it off, not having time to deal with his weird s**t.
“Why does it matter? Please leave.” I began to enter the classroom, but to my surprise, Maxwell didn’t leave. He actually stormed into the classroom and picked my teacher up by the collar. My teacher's eyes go wide from the sudden assault.
“What the hell are you doing, max?” I shouted as I watched my teacher flail around.
Case and point right there
This is why we broke up. The guy is a psychopath and if I don’t stop this now, he will kill my teacher. I know because he’s done it before.
“Max, let go of my teacher or I’m calling the police!” I shout. like I really had command over him.
of course, he ignored my threat.
Max continued “How the f**k did you get in?” A growl escaping his chest. A literal growl, I’m instantly brought back to that night and my heart started to beat so fast.
it's happening again.
To make matters worse , my teacher broke into a smile.
I stared at the senile man in confusion. Does he not know, danger when he sees it. Maxwell is the picture by the definition.
“So I was right.” He said, tilting his head in an what looked like an uncomfortable way to look at me.
“She’s your mate.” The words leaving, Mr. walterburg mouth sounded like he was saying what he wanted for dinner, and it sent a shiver down my spine.
Maxwell didn't like it either but reacted with violence like he always does.
Too fast for my eyes to see Maxwell, who was no longer at the desk now, had my teacher against the whiteboard with so much strength it dented the wall. I reached for my phone unconsciously, dialing for the police, when Maxwell was at my side, snatching my phone from my hand.
“Don’t.” He then looks back at his victim who had disappeared. We both looked around for my teacher but he was nowhere in the room.
“s**t,” he started to pull me out of the classroom, and my body missed his touch badly, but as soon as we reached the hallway, all of my senses came to the same decision.
Run.
Get away from Maxwell.
I ran as far away from Maxwell as I could, hoping to find a phone in the next classroom. I make it only a bit further down the hallway before I’m tackled.
I land with an oomph that left me breathless.
then, I started to feel a hot breath blowing at the back of my neck.
“Don’t!” Maxwell screams, and I hear laughing.
what the hell is going on?
Why does it feel like someone is about to kill me.
“Or what alpha? Any move you make, and she’s dead anyway.” the unrecognizable raspy voice said. I start to cry. I'm so scared. This is what happened last time.
Someone always tries to harm me when Maxwell is around.
Maxwell is bad news, and I need to get away. but first, i need to get away from whoever this is. I start to struggle and scream for help.
That’s when everything went dark.
