Bolu reached home and settled down to eat. She wasn't the least bit surprised that she was expecting his text. She realized she was falling in love with this guy, and they hadn't even kissed. "Is this what I'm supposed to be doing with my time, thinking about a guy?" she admonished herself. "It's better he doesn't text; I can't deal with this right now." Deep within, she knew she didn't mean that, but she had to pull herself together. She wasn't a kid or a lovestruck teenager. As if the universe didn't agree, his text came in: "Hi, beautiful? Are you home?" The "beautiful" in that statement alone made her blush. What was it about this guy that got her all riled up? "I'm home," she replied. They had a sweet conversation all through the night, and it felt like they never had a break. The next morning, she was at his place under the guise of coming to watch a movie, but both of them knew there'd been a shift in their relationship. It felt like there was a new dynamic to what they had now. They settled down to watch a movie, but neither of them was paying rapt attention. They both knew, but it seemed like he was waiting for her to make the first move. She wouldn't blame him; she had rejected his advances a few times, and she knew he was trying to respect boundaries. So, it was up to her to decide.
