That night, Rosa lay flat on the bed, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. His deep voice wishing her good night echoed softly in her ears.
She isn’t dreaming, is she?
A faint sniffle escaped her, her cheeks flushed red. It all felt so different, overwhelming even. She was under the same roof as him. Something that once felt impossible.
It felt like a dream!
Her lips curved into a shy smile, but suddenly her eyes widened. She sat up straight.
“My phone?” she whispered, glancing around.
She had completely forgotten about her phone these past few days.
Rosa sighed, pressing her lips together, a trace of sadness flickering in her gaze.
Then, a soft giggle slipped out. “He wished me night!” she grinned and fell back onto the bed.
Her hands covered her face and she tried to hide her laughter, her heart fluttering uncontrollably.
“Sleep, Rosalie... sleep.” she murmured to herself, setting the alarm before pulling the blanket over her tiny frame. With one last sigh, she closed her eyes, a gentle smile still lingering as she drifted into sleep.

Next Morning.
Rosa looked at herself in the mirror, wearing the academic outfit Lilia had bought for her. She sighed, thinking of how much she owed to him. Everything had been taken care of—every small detail.
Glancing at the clock, Rosa took a deep breath and stepped out of her room, lost in thoughts about the day ahead. Lilia’s warm smile greeted her.
“The car is here. Have a safe journey.” she said softly.
“Car?” Rosa asked, blinking.
“His order.” Lilia pointed out kindly.
Rosa swallowed hard and smiled faintly at Lilia’s kindness.
She hesitantly walked out of the mansion as the guards opened the large gate for her. Her eyes landed on a sleek black car parked outside and the man leaning against it, looking at his phone.
Rosa stopped in her track. The man standing by the black car was none other than Chris.
He sensed her presence and glanced up, his cold blue eyes meeting hers for a brief moment before he straightened and bowed politely.
“Good morning.” he muttered in a formal voice.
Rosa blinked, startled. “Good morning.” she replied softly, nervous under his gaze.
A wave of nervousness washed over her. There was something about his presence that felt heavy and dark.
Chris opened the car door for her with practiced precision. “Please, get in.”
Rosa obeyed quietly, sitting in the back seat, her small fingers fiddled together. For a moment, Chris glanced at her through the rearview mirror before starting the engine.
When the car finally stopped, Rosa sighed in relief, recognizing the familiar gates.
“We’ve arrived.” Chris announced, his voice deep and cold, lacking any gentleness.
Before she could move, he stepped out and opened the door for her. The formal gestures made her feel awkward. She wasn’t used to this.
“Thank you.” she murmured, bowing slightly before walking toward the gate.
Rosa stepped into the classroom, and Aria’s eyes lit up as she waved eagerly. Rosa hesitated before making her way to the seat beside her.
“Girl! Where were you? I was so worried for you.”
Rosa hesitated, her fingers curled in her lap. Should she tell her everything? Rosa wondered.
“You just disappeared. What happened?” Aria asked again.
“I was just.. unwell.” Rosa murmured.
Aria frowned, unconvinced. “I should’ve taken your phone number before.”
Rosa smiled faintly, guilt tightening in her chest. Lying never came easy to her.
She simply nodded.
A sudden feeling of being watched made her look up. Rosa turned her head and saw Max staring at her, chin resting on his hand, eyes fixed on her face, probably admiring her beauty.
Rosa quickly looked away.
Then came the scraping of chairs as everyone stood up.
The Professor entered—Mr. Kang. His sharp eyes swept across the room. Rosa couldn’t help but feel uneasy. She looked down at the table, hoping he wouldn’t notice her.
This man always gives her creepy vibes.
Class began, and soon he announced he would reveal the exam results. The room buzzed with tension.
“Aria Clark.” he called and Aria responded immediately.
“Passed.” he declared bringing a smile over her face.
Rosa’s attention snapped forward when her name was called “Rosalie Sinclair.”
She stood up slowly, every eye on her. She waited to hear the result while Mr. Kang Rowan gazed at her with a faint smirk.
“Failed!”
