Journey

Somehow the voice of the one who picked up the call made Dorie remember something which she forgot. She started getting a headache. The headache was so bad she dropped the phone. Levi stretched out his hand to try and comfort her but the moment he touched her his head started aching too. It was as if the headache was contagious. They both fell to the ground because the headache was intesifing with every second. They began having flashes of a certain day they had both forgotten about. After the flashes their heads stopped aching and they were back to normal.

"are you okay, Dorie?"

"yeah, and you"

"I'm fine"

"what was that? I saw my own death"

"same"

"could it be our future?"

"it can't be. I felt as if I was in my own body"

"this might be a weird theory but I think we died and somehow came back"

"that's impossible"

"I've only seen it in TV shows but I just can't shake the feeling that that's what happened to us"

"but in TV shows people go back to their original bodies so how do you explain what happened to us"

"I... I don't know"

"all this thinking is making my brain hurt. Let's just stop thinking about it"

"I'm sure you're saying that right now but you really can't stop thinking about it"

"whatever. We have better things to do like finding the culprit"

"you're right"

A message popped up on Dorie's phone. Her family was requesting her to go back home to honor the grandmother's death.

"my family just requested me to go back home for obvious reasons and well I can't go back looking like a guy so yeah you're coming with me "

"but what if your family members talk to me then what"

"you answer them, duh. Don't worry I'll guide you through everything"

"what if I mess up then what"

"you can't afford to mess up while using my face so try your best to prevent yourself from messing up"

"easier said than done"

The two packed up and set for their journey to the grandmother's house. The journey took about five hours when you omitt the stops and traffics so in the end the journey took seven hours. They then pulled up to a huge mansion with a dark grey and black themed exterior and a white and gold themed interior. It was one of the mansions her grandmother loved out of the others.

"okay Levi last minute adjustments. What do you answer when my mom asks about why I brought you"

"emotional support system"

"why I only reacted to her message instead of replying"

"I was busy with work"

"what if aunt Camilla calls you"

"avoid if possible"

"or else... "

"answer rudely"

"yeah I think you're all good since we've practiced on the main threats. I think you can handle the rest"

"wait... I have to speak to more people"

"of course but we've practiced on the main threats so I really don't get why you're freaking out. But if I were in your situation I would really avoid people."

"this is torture"

"you still have that fake cry or do you need eyedrops"

"I think I'll be fine"

"but if you need the eyedrops I won't venture that far from you"

After that conversation they opened the doors to the mansion.
