Trapped into Love

Chapter 11

Caden Stewart (POV)

I clenched my fist as I witness the last thing I wanted to see. I thought of surprising Sabrina but I was the one being surprised seeing the scene I never expected to witness. From the time they came out from that restaurant until Luke entered his car.

I saw how she allowed him to hug and kiss her. I thought Sabrina is different from all those women I've been dating but I was wrong. Women are women. They always hide something behind those soft aura they portray.

"If I were you, I will stop clenching my fist," says Jake who is sitting beside me. I glared at him. This isn't the time to make some kind of comment. I wanted to punch someone that same moment.

"Can we just get out of this place," I said, instead of saying something regarding his comment.

"Nah, how about the meeting that we are about to attend? Come on, this is one of the biggest -"

"Huh, come on. Just call him and tell him that I'm having a meeting and still busy with some of my work," I replied. "And besides, I really don't need him. He needs me and if he is really interested, he'll wait until I call him again," I added to which Jake just nodded. My friend know how powerful I am when it comes to the business world. He know, very well that people need me and not the other way around.

"Fine. But where are we going?" he asked showing me his signature smirk.

"A place where I think you have in mind," I replied.

Jake called the person that we were about to meet and luckily, they're still on their way. They're still not in the restaurant. Jake even apologize for not pushing through with the meeting.

After the phone call, I immediately drive off the street. I really can't stay in that place after the thing I've witnessed. I wasn't expecting Sabrina to meet my cousin.

"Why are you mad?" asks Jake as we entered the club.

"I'm not. Just annoyed," I replied as we finally reach the VIP room.

I immediately ordered a hard drink for myself and Jake. "Whoa, slow down man. I want something soft," he said making me smirk. I know what Jake wants.

"It's not the perfect time for soft drinks," I replied making him laugh. I need hard drinks to calm down my nerves.

"You're annoyed. Is it because of Luke or the fact that Sabrina is giving Luke a chance to kiss her? Oh, not that, you're annoyed because you think, Sabrina is giving Luke a chance in her life even if you are married," says Jake teasingly.

I really don't know why I'm annoyed. Is it really the fact that Sabrina is Luke's x-girlfriend or is it because of Luke.

"Why do you still hate Luke?" asks Jake causing me to look at him.

Why do I hate Luke? I hate him because of the fact that he's our grandmothers' favorite grandchild. Even if I want to get my grandmothers' attention, she still wants Luke by her side. Second, I hate him because he is the reason why my younger sister died.

I can still remember that day. The day that made me hate him even more. If she didn't force my sister to go with him with in the club, the accident would never happen. My sister would still be alive. That alone reminds me of the day that the accident happen.

"Caden, where are you?" asks my mother from the other line as soon as I answered her call.

"I'm on my way home mom. Why?" I asked. "I'm driving," I added.

"We are at the hospital," she replied. Base from her voice, I can tell that she has been crying. Her voice is not as normal as the way she shouts at me and my brother.

"Why mom? Something happened?" I asked.

"You're sister meets an accident," she replied making me stop the car without even thinking about the fact that I'm in the middle of the road.

"Caden? Are you still there?" she asked from the other line when she didn't hear anything from me for I don't know how long.

I may argue with my sister but I still don't want her to feel pain from anyone or anything. When I hear the sound of horn, I immediately find a perfect place to make a u-turn. l need to go to the hospital where my sister is.

"What hospital is that?" I asked my mother who immediately told me the place.

"Hey, are you still with me?" asks Jake bringing me back to my senses.

"What were you saying?"

"Nah, nothing. I'm just really confused of the feud between the two of you," he replied. "Well, aside from the fact that you blame him for your sisters' death," he added. Jake knew about that because I told him that.

"I don't know. I just don't feel the blood relation between us," I replied.

"And now, your feud is going to be more fun!" he said making me glare at him. He is really trying to piss me even more.

"Will you stop with your nonsense thoughts!"

"Fine, fine," he said raising both of his hands on the air. I just nodded at him and continued drinking.

"I don't know why he suddenly showed up. I thought he is doing well in his career," I said.

"It's because of your wife."

Jake's reply made me wonder if Luke really didn't know or read about my marriage to Sabrina. It was all over the news. I doubt if Luke never read of browse his social media accounts.

"Anyway, let's not talk about him or them. Let's just stick on the reason why we are here."

Jake teasingly smiled at me. "Man, the reason why we are here is because you were annoyed of what you saw a while ago. Don't you remember it?" he replied making me glare at him.

"Funny young man. Can we just talk about business or anything aside from that? Come on, if you don't want me to punch your stupid, ugly face," I replied as I take a drink from my glass of liquor. Jake just nodded and opened a conversation.

We discuss some business deals we closed and those women that we dated before. We were in the middle of our discussion when one of the hostess came and sits beside me. She started kissing me on my neck. "Excuse me, he's not available. He's married," Jake said before he guzzled up his drink.

"Yeah, I am," I just said to make the woman stop from what she is doing.

The girl just stared at him. "Nah, I don't care. Married or not, I'm willing to be with him," she said. Then an idea suddenly came into mind. I smiled at Jake and wink.

"Dude, I think it's time to go home," I said.

He looked at me with curiosity. "What do you mean? We're just starting?" he said. I gave him a look.

"We're almost drunk Jake," I said. That's when he get what I'm trying to say but still played dumb.

"Oh? Really?" he mockingly replied.

"Yes. Want to go home with a broken bone?" I asked him to which he shakes his head.

"Nah, not now. I don't want to have any broken bone. That would be painful," he sarcastically replied before he stands up from his seat and headed out of the VIP room.

We paid for all the drinks that we ordered and find our way out of the club with the woman who is clinging on me. "Honey, are we going to your place?" the woman asks once we entered car. I just nodded and started the engine.

"Dude, just drop me off my place," says Jake who is sitting at the back of the drivers seat.

"Sure. You should find a woman to go home with you once I drop you off your place," I teasingly replied.

"No thanks. I'm good," he replied to which I just shrug my shoulder.

We dropped Jake in his place before we drive off towards my place. The girl I'm with is still clinging at me until we reach the house. Roger was the one who opened the gate and his eyes literally widened as he saw the woman I'm with. I just nodded towards him. I helped the girl climbed out my car.

I watch Roger entered the house. I waited for him to be out of sight before I talked to the girl. "Name?" I asks.

"Just call me Vera Honey," she replied.

"Vera, what I want you to do is to follow everything that I'll tell you. I'll give you an amount that will pay your service," I said. She just nodded her head in reply. She's about to cling on me again when I stopped her and talk to her about what she needs to do.

Once I told her everything she needs to do, we entered the house. This time, I let her cling on me like she'll never see another man like me and her life depends on me. I saw Magie and Roger in the living room doing what they always do - watching. Magie's eyes widened after seeing me with Vera. "Y-you're home," says Magie who is looking at Vera. I can see dismay in her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm home with a friend," I replied before flashing a smile.

"Hello, goodnight!" says Vera as we ascend the stairs. She was laughing at something I whispered in her ears.

I was about to open my room door when Sabrina came out her room. Her eyes widened as she saw Vera clinging on me. I saw pain passes through her eyes but was easily changed into something I can't decipher. I laughed at the back of my head. How could she feel the pain if she's doing the same thing behind my back. Unbelievable.

"Wh- who are you?" she asks looking at Vera.

"Hello, I'm Vera. Caden's - "

"New girlfriend," I interrupted.

"How about you? Who are you?" Vera asked her.

"I'm Cadens -"

"Cousin. She's my cousin who just came back from the states," I again said. Sabrina raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, no wonder. Beauty really runs in your blood," says Vera to which I nodded. Vera doesn't even know that Sabrina is my wife.

"Anyway, have a goodnight. We need to have some rest tonight!" I said. "Ah, not a rest but fun. We still have a long night to play," I added.

Sabrina just stands still looking at us. I give her one last glance before I locked the door. All I can say is that, I succeeded with my plan.

Sabrina Meyers (POV)

"Hey, is there any problem?"

I turned towards Ema and Ava. Yes, since the day Ava came to my office and talked to me, I tried to forget everything. I even told Ema about Ava's pregnancy and she was happy to hear the news. Just like what I feel the time I saw her after the cheating incident, Ema didn't do anything towards her. Instead, we welcomed her back into our lives and treat her well, the same way before I caught her cheating on me with Luke.

We are currently at Ava's place. Ema and I decided to pay her a visit.

"Nah, nothing," I sadly replied.

"Then what's the tear all about?" asks Ava who is looking at me with concern in her eyes.

I lift my right hand and was surprised when I touched my cheek. I was too focused on what I'm thinking that I didn't notice my tears. "Just - just a little bit tired," I replied.

Ema put her cup of juice down and look at me. Her eyes is full of concern. "Come on Sabrina, tell us what's going on," she said.

I heaved a deep sigh and tell them the reason why I feel broken.

I told them about how Caden brought home a woman. Since then, he always comes home in a drunken state. "Why the heck would he do that to you?" Ava asks. Ema immediately hold her hands.

"I don't know. His attitude suddenly changed and I can't find a reason for that change."

Silence filled the room. "Is it because her ex-girlfriend show up again?" Ema asked that made me froze on my seat.

Would it really be because of Raine that Cadens attitude suddenly changed? "Ex? Ah, that's really a problem," says Ava that made me look at her. "That happened to me when Luke decided to go after Sabrina," she added while a teasing smile appeared on her lips.

Ema glared at her. "That's way too different! Sabrina moved on from him and is not interested with him anymore," says Ema that made Ava laugh.

"I know and I'm quite lucky for that. It's just that, Luke is the one chasing after her," she replied.

"Can we just set that aside," I said. If they will not stop talking about the past, there's a possibility that Ava will be hurt. And that's the last thing I wanted to happen. It may affect the child she is carrying.

"Well, let's just talk about some other thing like Ava's pregnancy," says Ema to which I nodded. That is way better than to talk about my husband who doesn't even show concern and respect to me or about Luke, who I think is just giving himself time to gain confidence to face Ava.

Ema diverted the topic as to what she said. Ava on the other hand, cheerfully shared her pregnancy to us. She told us what she's obsessed with when her pregnancy starts.

"I can't really wait to give birth to this baby. I'm super excited," she said with a bright smile on her face. "Even if Luke will not take responsibility, I'll just do my best to give this child everything," she added.

"We can't wait to see the baby as well," says Ema who is touching Ava's stomach.

"How about you Ema, when will you have a boyfriend?" I suddenly asked her. Since we graduated from college, Ema didn't enter into a relationship. That is because of the traumatic thing that happened to her ex-boyfriend. Ema looked at me and shrug her shoulders.

Pain is still visible in her eyes. Pain that she has been hiding from everyone aside from me. "I really don't know where to start," she said. Ava pats her shoulder.

"Ema, that was long time ago. It's time for you to move on," Ava said. "Come on, you're not getting any younger," she added making me laugh.

"I don't know. I really don't. I thought I moved on but - but when his brother showed up to me the other day, everything came back," she said. Different emotions passes through her eyes.

"What did he tell you?" I asked.

"He just invited me for a dinner. I even don't know if I will go or not," she replied.

"Why don't you go and spend time with them. Ema, they're definitely doing this for you," I said that made her nod.

"I don't know. I'm still not ready for what they're planning," she said as she lets out a small laugh. "Can we just talk about some other thing? Why can't we just focus on the unborn child. Let's plan about his or her future," she added making Ava roll her eyes.

"That's way too advance!" Ava said that made me smile.

We stayed there for a while and talk. We talk about lots of things. After spending time at Ava's place, Ema and I decided to go to the mall and shop something for ourselves. It's past five when Ema and I separated and went on our ways. Ema went to see her dentist and I went home.

I parked the car and climbed out of my car. I was a little bit surprised when I saw Cadens car parked on its usual spot. I saw Roger doing something at the plants. He is trying to shape them. "Roger, that's enough. It's already dark," I said when he looked at me.

"Nah, I'm already done. Just need to put some finishing touch on it," he replied with a smile. I smiled back at him and walk towards the back of my car. I pulled all the paper bags at the back of the car. Magie who appeared from the entrance door helped me out.

"What are this?" she asks when we are already at the living room.

I smiled at her and give the three paper bags to her. "This are actually for you and Roger," I said as I give her the paper bag.

"Whoa, you don't need to buy things for us," she said. "We can't use them all at the same time," she added to which I smiled.

"But I wanted to give you those things. Come on, don't turn it down. I really love doing it for you," I replied.

"Sabrina, you've been doing this. You already have given us too much," she said. I smiled. She's right, this is not the only time I bought something for them. But I don't care. I have enough for myself and the only thing that I wanted to do is to spoil this people.

"By the way, is Caden home?" I ask making her nod.

"He's here since one. I wonder if he is going to stay or he'll just go out later," she replied.

"I see. Is he with -"

"No, he's all alone," she said interrupting me with what I'm about to say.

"Okay, but -"

I was not able to continue with what I'm about to say when a woman just appeared from the entrance door of the house. I looked at her. She was the woman that Caden brought home weeks ago. Seeing her wearing a very revealing dress made my blood boil. This woman is impossible.

"Hey, Cadens home right? Can I see him?" she said giving me a mocking smile.

"Yes, he is home," Magie answered.

"He's home. What do you need from him? Do you have unfinished business with him?" I asked making her look at me from head to toe.

'That's kind of insulting' I thought.

"Well, I just want to pay him a visit. He didn't visit me since the day we spend time together at their hotel," she replied.

I silently stabbed her at the back of my head. This woman is really impossible. "Get out of the house!" I said with a loud voice making her flinch.

If I allowed her to sleep with Caden the last time she stepped inside this house, today, I'm going to stand and put her on her rightful place. I'll show her who I am.

'Do you think it's already too late for that?' a part of me whispered making me clench my palm.

"Who are you to tell me to go out this house?" she said.

"It's because I am Cadens wife!" I replied. Is she not reading news articles? My wedding was all over the news. How can she not know the wife of Caden? Even if Caden introduced me as his nanny, a cousin or even his sister, this women should have read articles about the man they're sleeping with. Or, are they just sleeping with men to have their money? Stupid gold diggers!

"But he told me that you are his cousin."

"He lied because he wants to sleep with a low class woman like you. A gold digger, a w***e!" I said as anger envelopes my whole being. I cannot see a beautiful woman standing in front of me now. What I see is a woman that I considered as home wrecker.

"Ah, the wife he's talking about. A boring wife," she replied with a sly smile.

"What did you just say?" I asked as I walk towards her. I was about to slap her when someone stopped my hand in the air. I turned to look at the person and was surprised to see Caden. He glared at me and pushed me aside. He pushed me with strength causing me to fall on the ground. He just stared at me with anger before he pulled the woman away and ascended the stairs.

A tear rolls down my cheeks as they finally reach the last step. Caden is really a heartless monster. He didn't even say anything to me. He just pushed me and leave me on the ground like a rug that he uses to clean his dirty shoes.
