Chapter 32

2619 Words

CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO When Cassidy got back to London that evening, she called Deliveroo for a takeaway, then sat back with a glass of her favourite Australian Shiraz while she replayed everything that had happened over the last four days. She had always been good at boiling things down to their essence, at being succinct when it was called for, in order to write snappy headlines and features for the business magazine she edited. That was what she was paid such a good salary for. If she were to sum up her long weekend in Cornwall in as few words as possible, those words would be: In love, in hate.
