~CALLIE’S P.O.V~
As soon as the door closes, when he leaves the room, I release a breath I hadn’t realized I had been holding. That was intense... I shook my head and started to walk towards the bathroom door in the hospital room. Once I enter the bathroom, I stare at my reflection in the mirror. I feel like a brand-new person, my skin looks flawless, my eyes seem brighter, and my skin looks as if it were glowing. Not literally, of course, just like the saying “You’re glowing” people tend to tell pregnant women. I am definitely not pregnant; my virginity is still intact. That’s for sure! I started to undress the hospital gown and look over my skin to see any scars I may have acquired from what had just happened to me. To my surprise, there were none, as if the battle never occurred.
