Forever Alone

Run.. Run... "RUN Elise, run now! " My wolf screamed in my head, she screamed over and over. Dodging trees, after trees, the only thing I could hear was the pounding of my paws hitting the ground and my wolf hollering to keep running. Eventually I heard the howls of rogues and pack members that were chasing me, I only could think of one thing, and one thing only. Well, actually 2 things, my unborn twins Sophie and Edward. I am only 3 months pregnant but I am the size of a 7 month pregnant mom. Werewolves develop faster in the womb then normal babies, so I look like I'm about to give birth.  "Focus Elise, we need to get away"  My shewolf said knowing fully we were being chased. My wolf's name was Aislin and she was a beautiful solid white wolf, with the exceptionof a small black shaped diamond on her head and chest. I looked just like her when I shifted but I didn't feel as beautiful as her. "Aislin I know we have to move but I'm so tired and sleepy" "I know Elise but we have to move for our unborn twins". Hearing Aislin say this, I shook my head and sped up knowing that I had to protect their lives and Aislin's as well. Moving swiftly through the woods, I knew I would reach the one place that always gave me hope. The cliff. Blinking a couple times I soon realized I would be reaching the cliff. The cliff was a place I spent alot a of time at, because it always brought me hope, and it let me be able to speak with my mom when I was down. Yes, hating the thought, my mom passed away when I was 10 protecting my family and me. So when ever I'm down or feeling alone, I come to my special place to relax and just listen to the wind, feeling my mom comfort me. Unfortunately when I reach the clearing, 3 reddish-brown rogue wolves are waiting for me. I could see and smell the blood dripping from their fangs, and I knew at this point my life, my twins and Aislin's life were coming to an end.  "Aislin, I'm so sorry I wish that we could have watched our pups grow up, but seeing what's in front, all I can say is I'm sorry.  "Elise, never be sorry. You have been my greatest friend, and have always had my best interest at heart. I love you dearly. May we meet in the next life, as well as Sophie and Edward. May the moon goddess watch over us, protect us, and grant us the reunion in the next life"  When I heard those words, I knew that my time was coming to an end. With a single tear falling from my have eyes, I took a deep breath before reaching the clearing.  Hearing their snarls, my eyes became very heavy and my body became very heavy and weak, I knew I couldn't go any further. My body collapsed, my vision started to fade away, but I never felt pain or anguish. I felt something completely different, something warm, powerful, and ethereal. A beautiful black being running on all fours, protecting me like his life was at stake, but then total darkness.
