Unaware

Beep. Beep. Beep. 

Hmmm, what's that noise, why can't I move. Thinking to myself I could figure what was wrong with me and why I felt so weak. I tried to open my eyes but they just wouldn't open. I started to panic, worrying that something was wrong, then I heard the voice of an angel or what I thought was an angel.

"Elise, dont panic, this is your wolf half. You were hurt very badly and have been in a coma. Please calm down and I will help you." Wanting to cry, I knew that my body was unable for I had no energy to move. Asking my wolf, " who are you, where is my mommy and daddy, why can't I move, what's going?" "Calm done little one, like I said, I'm your wolf  half, your mom is sitting beside you. As for the rest of the questions, I think you need to wake and talk with your mom." Just nodding my head to the voice speaking to me, I slowly started to open my eyes to look at my surroundings. I had no idea where I was at or what was going on around, I just knew I wanted my parents and for them to hold me, but it didn't happen, only my mommy was there.

"Mommy? Why are you crying? Where's daddy? Why am I laying in a hopital?" Before, my mommy had t8me to answer the first question, I was spitting out one after the other just showing my confusion. She gave me a big hug and kissed my forehead like she always did, but then she began to speak. I was not expecting the next words to come out. "Sweetie, im so sorry to tell you this, but your daddy passed away a month ago on that same day that you got hurt." Thinking to myself, that can't be possible, why are they tricking me, where is daddy hiding, I hope he comes out soon.

Seeing the look on my face, my mommy knew that I was having a hard time believing what she said. She then continued to tell me what happened that unfortunate day, and how everything changed. "Elise sweetie, your daddy died protecting you and Alpha Mit. There were rogues that set a trap to capture Alex, but you were caught instead. The rogues took that chance and went to attack you, and your father got there just in time, followed by the alpha. They fought with the rogues while, Luna Allie and I tried to set you free. The only thing was, the trap had silver lining and it was burning your skin and sending poison in your body." She continued speaking waiting for me to think about all that happened, then she gave me the heart breaking news.

"When we got you free, the rogues disappeared and you had fainted. Alpha Mit picked you up, and was gonna take you to the hospital, but the leader of the rogues had other plans. The rogue leader saw you and the alpha taking off to leave, and lunged at you and him. Your father saw this and jumped in the way protecting you both. The rogue took off, and your father was bleeding badly, so we rushed you to the hospital. We didn't know that when the leader rogue attacked, he actually had silver lining on his canines. Your daddy didn't make it to the hospital, and we almost lost you too."

Hearing all that she said, I looked down at my right foot to see that she was telling the truth. My foot was burned severely with a horrible scar. I could no longer smell the scent of my daddy on mommy, nor could I feel his wolf. I knew he was gone and my family was broken. I started to feel sleepy, and darkness took over me.
