Jake’s POV,

"I miss your dad so much a such times. He would have been very happy seeing you getting married. I wish he was still with us." My mom said tearing up.

"Mom please stop all this. And now tell me what do you want me to bring for you from Italy? " I said trying to change the topic.

"Get me a beautiful vase from there, I will keep it in my room." Mom said.

"Okay and what about you little brother? What do you want from there?" I asked.

"Bring me the number of any pastry chef from the meet who can teach me her or his skills. Everyone who is gonna attend will be excellent there, right?"

"I like it that you are serious about your career. I'll try doing that. Anything else?"

"Yeah some chocolates. Whichever you think is unique bring it for me. I know you are going to eat lots of them."

"Okay I'll do that too. Well mom, the meeting will be four days long. After that Xabert will join me there. We will stay there for about three days and two nights. Then we'll be back just six days before the engagement. Xabert will come to invite you personally before leaving for Italy, he told me today. So I hope you won't panic since I won't be here."

"Why would I panic? He is my would be son in law after all."

"I remember how you panicked when you saw her for the first time. You thought he was too handsome to looking at him directly in his eyes. You really forget about that? You are getting old I guess." I said teasingly.

"Stop it now stop teasing this poor old lady." Mom said with a fake cry.

"Cristian what is going on with you at school?" I asked cristian.

"Nothing much. I am going to have a inter school Soccer match soon. And I am the captain of our school's soccer team. Practice is quite tiring now a days. And catching up with studies is also important since tests are just a month away. I skipped my group studies today to be with you since we haven't spend much time together lately.

Mom and i missed you alot. It's good that you came today."

"I missed you guys alot too, it's just that I was too busy with restaurants, shows and everything. Cristian why don't you come and live with me sometime. We'll cook together and I'll teach you some recipes. You can impress you future girlfriend with them."

"Sounds good, I'll come once you are back from Italy and my match is done. Okay?"

"Done, deal. I'll set a room for you according to your taste."

"What about your college? What do you plan on doing after school?"

"I am going to get my associates degree to be chocolatier. I've searched a few institutions who offers that course. I'll be a chocolatier and make lots of chocolates for you. What do you think, should i do that?"

"Of course do whatever you like. But always be responsible for whatever you choose for yourself. I know you can do this you are my brother afterall. I'll always support you. Look for the best college to learn the skills not worry about anything. I'll arrange it for you. I'm thinking of opening a restaurant in Italy. It's still a thought now. If it is successful, I'll open a chocolate shop for you there. Work hard till then. "

"I'll make you proud." Cristian said.

"Okay now what should we do next. It's still too early to sleep. Let's watch some movies. Do you have some in your mind?" I asked cristian but noticed that mom was already asleep. So I signalled cristian to leave her room so that we won't disturb her.

Cristian had a big TV with home theatre in his room so we decided to watch the movie there.

"Xabert choose a movie, meanwhile I'll wash up. Okay. You can wash up too if you want. But don't take too much time or else I'll sleep with mom." I said.

"Okay okay I'll do that. No go wash up." He said.

I came back to my room. I've bought a nightwear from my mom's cupboard. A checked my phone to see if Xabert has sent me any messages or called me. I pulled out my phone from my purse. There were two text messages from Xabert.

"Babe don't give the invitation to your mother. I'll come tomorrow morning to pick you up I'll give it to her then. I still have formally told her about our engagement. It will be rude if you give the invitation to her with out me. Text we when you're free."
