Jake’s POV,
Alexis said he was out tutoring a school friend he’ll be staying at his place tonight and even though I promised him to pay all his tuition I still can't interfere with what he wanted to do. I let him out only after he made sure to tell me before he reaches at his friend’s place, when he reaches, after he reach, I just needed a text from him. I know texts are stupid, if he is kidn*pped, the kidnapper could easily use the phone to send the texts, that was why I told him to send me a code word at the end. The word that will always be different for each text. I'm not taking any chances.
By the time I've been discharged and reached home it’s almost seven p.m., night is rising up in the sky and for some reason I've been feeling quite inside me even when I shouldn’t.
