Chapter 81

Jake’s POV,

After around 11pm I got done with my packing. I put the bags near the coffee table in the bedroom. I look for Xabert but he wasn't in the study room. I look for him and found him on her terrace. He was looking at the night sky from his telescope.

He is so into astronomy. And made me interested in it too. He showed me the moon, It look beautiful and many starts as well. It was monsoon so the sky wasn't very clear but it was clear enough to see some nearby stars.

We sat there for sometime. We talked to each other about random stuff. I head was leaning on his shoulder and our legs were intertwined with each other.

We talked like that and we head back to our rooms at about thirty past eleven. We payed on the bed and soon we both drifter to sleep cuddling.

The next day started as usual. I got up from the bed. Take a bath. Got ready for work. Cooked some breakfast for me and Xabert. Had my breakfast with Xabert. And left for work.

Decided the menus for the day and started preparing for it immediately after the fresh ingredients got delivered. Then cooked until 3 pm. Then I had my lunch with Xabert. We are sushi for lunch.

Then back to the restaurant. Prepare for the dinner menu. Then cook until then closing time. Then back home run a bath and cooked the dinner. Had it with Xabert. But rather then to chat and sleep I have to catch my flight to Italy.

I got ready and packed the things left, mostly toiletries and my charger. Xabert said that he will drop me off to the airport but suddenly a meeting popped up. It was important so I told him not to drop me to the airport and that I will go on my own. He booked me a cab. And sent me off.

When I was on the way, I was sipping on my coffee so that I won't feel sleepy at least until I boarded the plane. The way to the airport is quite far so I decided to read the article that I interviewed for yesterday in an application. The newspaper had its E-version too. I was reading it. It was nicely written. It had a photo of mine and the dish as well. As I was reading it I felt a weird pang on pain in my leg.

I looked up to see that the cab driver poked me an injection. I don't know what it is, but when I looked at the rear view mirror, the same pair of eyes from tomorrow was staring back at me. I tried to call Xabert but I can't feel my hands anymore.

Before I can realise anything, I was enclosed in darkness.

He just left the room. While he was leaving I can hear the keys tingling against the door. He is probably locking me up. I can hear the key twisting in the lock. But wait I think he is putting on two locks. Or is he unlocking it?

I waited for a second and when the door didn't opened, I think my first guess was right. He has put two locks in that door. The door is huge on its own. It would be impossible enough to even shake that door. There is no use even if he put two locks in there.

The place has some weird smell. It's almost like asphalt. The smell you got from a newly repaired road. Or a car repairing place. Teh smell is very mild. I think it's not something from a near place.

I started looking around the room. It is not bright in the room anymore. He turned off all the lights. There is only a small Bulb enlightening the whole place. this place is huge and dark.

The room is old, its walls are are all dirtied black. It looks like an abandoned building. It must be in some isolated place. The room is all empty. But there is a small bed in it. There are some hooks nailed in the wall. It feels like it is a mental hospital. The hooks on the wall looks like they are used to chain patients from the wall. The bed looked like a hospital's as well.

I was carefully looking all around the place. Maybe I will be able to find a way out. I don't know if Xabert even knew that I didn't boarded up on the flight. If I cannot get out of here then what will I do? I have so much to do. I worked so hard to make myself capable to be with Xabert. I don't want to loose it. My mom, she won't be able to take it.
