Chapter 85

Jake’s POV,

I was still appalled by the night mare. I am still shivering. The dream felt real. It felt like the emotions in my dream was real. It could still feel the horror of it. I'm scared if Xabert is fine. If he knows that is am not fine. That I am broken.

"Hey Serena! what are you doing here? You didn't tell me that you were coming, I would've cleared my schedule if I had known you were visiting me." I said surprised seeing my fiance in my house.

"I haven't seen you since our engagement last week. I know you were busy with all those company stuffs and now you have to manage Watson's but at least answer your damn phone. I was worried. You have never done this before. I even called at your office but your secretary always said you were busy in a meeting or in something else. I have came to your villa before but you were at your office everytime, but at least you are here now. I want to talk about something with you." Serena said complaining.

"Look babe I really have to rush right now, I have a meeting in an hour. I really have to be there on time. It is very important for my company. I have many responsibilities to hand over to my manager after the meeting before I move to Watson's. Can't we talk about it at dinner tonight?" I told her thinking that she might understand.

"I'll be quick. Just five minutes. Okay?" She said again making it hard for me to refuse.

"Okay, come sit and say." I said pointing at the couch to make her sitted.

"Xabert and Christina is getting engaged next weekend and they are throwing an engagement party. we have to be there. There will be media and many big shots. So You should free your time. Don't say I didn't told you before. I know you're busy but family is important too just as your work and you are friends, right? So you better be free then, I'll pick a dashing outfit for you. We'll go together. Now go. See you at dinner tonight. Love you." She said and I kissed her getting up and making my way to my car.

"I love you too." I replied back.

I reached my car. My driver was waiting for me to take me wherever I want. But I sent off my driver and drove my car myself away being careful not to be spotted. I have to go on a new mission and it should be highly confidential. The client want top level secrecy and we provide them what ever they requested.

Christina's POV

I saw that the room I was in yesterday is not where I am in now. I feel nauseous here. The room is suffocating and dark. Only light in the room was coming from a hole on the farthest wall, which informs me that it is Day time. When I tried to move from my position, I realized that I am on a chair and my hands and legs are tied with metal chains. Even moving from the chair a bit hurts like some is rubbing salt on my wounds.

This pain is too overbearing. It seems like I've been here forever, time never seems to pass by. My whole body feels like it's on fire. Every wound he gave me last night feels like it's engraved in my soul.

I just want to go back to Xabert. I want to be in his arms. I want him to give me strength.

"Christina, Christina, wake up. I'm here for you. I am always with you, you know it. Don't give up, we've been through a lot. Don't lose hope."

"Xabert,I don't think I can bare all this pain. It feels like my soul is ripping off of me. Please save me. I don't want to die. Only you can save me."

"I'm always with you just close your eyes. And pull up your strength you can lose. We have to be together, for better or for worse."

I closed my eyes in hopes for the pain to lessen but it never did.

"Xabert Xabert where are you. Please don't go. I will die." I yelled as I opened my eyes and saw that Xabert vanished. I'm starting to hallucinate. Please God save me, I don't have enough strength to fight that beast off. I started sobbing really hard. I lost all hopes that I had for my life.
