Jake’s POV,
"Hello! Am I speaking with miss Christina blue?" The person on the other side of the phone said. It was a male voice.
"Yes you are! And you are?" I asked him since I wasn't familiar with the caller ID and only few people knows my personal number.
"Hii, I am Paul Johnson. I am speaking in behalf of Mr Ronald king from Italy. I am his secretary. This call is to inform you that we are cordially inviting you to our annual meeting in Italy. I'm sure you have heard of Mr. Ronald King since you are a really famous chef. He arrange a chefs' meet every year.
But to tell you of it of course, we organise a meet every year in which we invite young chefs all around the world to our hotel in Italy where all of our guest chefs can communicate and share their views inspiration and ideas and what they like about food, cooking and creating.
It is the greatest event for chefs and many of them look forward to be able to be a part of it every year. Even the media reporters travel from all over the countries to cover this event. And we have selected you to represent your country.
This is the biggest opportunity for chefs like yourself to expand and explore the possibilities of the culinary world. You can get a whole world of opportunities just by being a participant in this event. It is much bigger than being a Michelin star chef.
We have of course mailed you the details about the event, venue and all. You just have to confirm if you are coming and if you do you have to sign a contract of confidentiality. Which means you should not tell anyone about this conversation or about the event. You can of course share this with your family but no one else should know about this since this summit is highly secretive.
If you decide that you want to be a part of this meet just email me on the email address I've emailed you from, I will proceed it with the contract signing. And soon after that you will get your stay details and air tickets. I hope you get what this is all about, but still if you have any doubts you can ask me now or just email me. I am always available for young inspirants like you. Now if you don't have anything in mind right now than I shall put down my phone?" He said all this without a pause and I was just trying to grasp everything he was ranting about.
But as soon as I realized what he just said I quickly replied,
"Oh yeah, sure. I will mail you then. Thanks for the invitation and all the things you have told me about. I will think about it and get back to you."
With that I put my phone Back on the counter of my vanity table in my room and started jumping like a teenage girl. With just one thing on my mind I was on cloud nine and that was my dream is coming closer to me. I was still in my robe which was now half striped as I was jumping and I am half naked from that. I quickly fix that as I heard someone's foot steps to my room.
Suddenly I saw Xabert entering the room and I being over excited jumped in his arms and while he struggled a bit with his composure from my sudden attack, he still managed to get a hold of me like always. Soon as he gained back his balance he kissed me softly on my smiling lips making me smile even a bigger smile and soon I kissed him back. He asked,
"What happened babe? Why are you being your teenage self again?" He asked with happiness in his eyes.
"Oh god babe, you won't believe who called me just now. It was from Mr Ronald king from Italy. I've told you about him. You remember?"
"Oh yes, you have told me about it. Isn't it the man who owns many culinary world record and Owns many high end restaurant and international hotels? Is this it is all about? Why would he call you?" He asked me but I was more surprised because he remembered what I told he. He remembers that I idolised him.
"Yes and you remember when I told you about the Annual meet he host in which he selected one chef from a country and give them the honour of being a part of it?"
"Yes you did and wait does it mean that you get the chance this year?"
"Yes yes yes." I said jumping again.
