Jake's POV

"Really? Congratulations babe now give me a big hug. You did it. I am so happy for you."

With that he hugged me tight, patted me head and while releasing me he kissed my forehead and again embraced me in his arms against his chest.

He is my feeling of home. His arms are my home.

"But babe they have asked me to sign a contract for confidentiality, that means if I decided to go there I must sign the contract and must not tell about this to anyone. I think they have to hide it from the locals and media to avoid the unmanageable chaos.

What do you thing I should go right?" I asked for his advice.

"Of course you should. It could be milestone for your career. You shouldn't miss the chance. Well then when is it happening? The place and time? Have they told you about it?" He asked.

"I don't know yet but he said that the details are in an email that he has sent on my mail address I will check it out." I told him.

"You should check it out but before that let me feed you some food. Come with me I have cooked breakfast for you without any help. And I think you will like it. It is your favourite. But even if it doesn't match your standard you should still eat it."

As I reached the dining area it had two plates of food, it looked nice. There was a flowerpot in the middle of the table with fresh red roses in it which I really loved.

I slightly turned my face to look at xabert and he was already looking at me as if he was trying to read my thoughts. He looked mesmerising. I kissed him and he kissed me back with the same passion and soon after when we were breathless we separated apart.

He gently took my hand and made me sit on the chair then he himself get sitted. When I took a bit from the sandwich it was indeed very delicious. I had always liked to eat whatever my mom cooked and never had any tantrums with the foods. I eat everything and I was grateful that he was thoughtful enough for me and this sandwich is something I would eat about everyday of my life with the love of my life and never get bored.

I told him this exact thing and listening to this he gave me a sweet smile before passing me a red velvet box. I was never afraid to share my thoughts with him because I knew he will understand me.

Shifting my confused gaze from the box to Xabert I asked him what the box is about. But something strucked in my head. Is it what I am thinking it is? Is he proposing me right now? Oh my god what should I do? I have never thought about marriage yet.

"Ms. Christina Blue, will you give me the honours to be your husband and to be able to call you Mrs. Christina Jones?" He said opening the box and pulling out the ring from it.

But I was still confused if I am ready to be tied down. I still have a lot to do.

I was watching the ring totally lost.

Maybe he saw my confused state and take his ring back. I was so guilty, it felt like as if I was breaking his heart and it's not a good feeling I must tell you.

"It's ok, no pressure. If you don't want it then it's fine", he said.

"No it's not like I don't want to marry you. It's just that I need sometime to thing about it. I have to first sort out my thoughts and then I will answer your proposal. Is that ok for you?" I asked him still unsure of how he will react. I knew I can't live without him. But marriage is a big big thing. I have to be sure of it. It can't just go with the flow.

"Sure, of course take as long as you like. I can wait for you forever and you know that right? I love you." He said and again kissed my forehead.

It was obvious that he was a bit sad from his expression, I was never intended to this, but it somehow happened.

He put the ring back in the box and the box back to his pocket. After that neither I said anything not he started a conversation. We just silently ate our food. I was periodically glancing at him. His expressions were tensed. And he was constantly clenching his jaw with his eyebrows constantly forrowed. I knew what he want but I still need to think about it peacefully.
