Chapter 3

Stefan's POV That was a lot to say to someone I only just met. It was the solid truth but showing vunerability to someone I don't know, especially for an Alpha was a lot, but right now I would do anything to win a chance for me and my brothers with mate. Chloe's words took me and my brothers by surprise before I even recover from my answer. "I thought they were no more" Toni whispered, trying to grasp what Chloe was implying. Chloe got up and reached the table at the other side of the room, where the good whiskey was on sight. She found the glasses and returned. She made a drink for all of us, giving us time to fully realise what was going on. "She is a lycan" Toni said a moment after he took a sip. "The last one" Chloe said, while holding her glass near her head. It was obvious she was thinking of the past and their struggles. She then focused again on us "You have to know, she hates Blue Moon with a passion". "What are you doing here then if she hates Blue Moon?" James replied. "This territory was not yours not even a day ago. We are both studying at the local university." "I think my brother meant, why are you telling us all these things, if she hates us." "Ohh, well, I was from the Red Moon Pack, thankfully my parents are also survivors. So, even if does hurt me to think of the past, I can say I moved on. I am happy with my life even when I serve a drunk at the bar or when I take a walk. On the hand, she has a void, she is my best friend and I love her to death, but I can see happiness in her eyes, only when she talks about her work. Everyday life is nothing for her without work. I know she loves me, and she smiles, we have fun but this smile doesn't reach her eyes. I want to see that. I want to be able to run with her lycan. She can't do that, whenever she turns, she has to hide her lycan really well. She is not free but she planned her life that way, so she can work to death. She is in love with love, the mate bond and all its glory. She craves to have the married life, but as a lycan she thought this is not possible. Her fated mate wouldn't come because she is the only one. And who would she choose for a chosen mate with those trust issues. I am helping you and I will continue to help you because you are going to have lots of ups and downs, but you three are her ticket for her happiness. " My heart broke. This was our parents doing. How were we going to even try if the situation was like that. "Okay. We need a plan, if we want to have a chance with our Luna." Toni announced and I couldn't agree more. "For starters, don't call her Luna." Toni's POV. As I was unlocking the door of our mate's flat, I kept thinking that this is not a good idea. The moment we entered her scent hit my nose and I almost drooled. I had to keep myself in check, if this was going to work and not run to her bed and claim her. At least, we know she is home, but keeping secrets from her was something that made me feel uneasy. "This is not a good idea" I said to my brothers over mindlink as I observe the place. It was cozy and it would be classy if book were not everywhere. "Being here?" Stefan asked looking at me with a raised eyebrow. "No, about not telling her who we are." "If she knows who we are, she will not give us a chance. She has to get to know us without all the pack and Alpha stuff. I don't like it either, but if this means we can ease her in to this life and accepting us, leaving all the trauma behind. I will do it." Stefan replied. James was looking at her books, and then walked to her kitchen, opening the cabinets one by one. "Me too and I think being here is a great idea, but I think we should tied up the place and make her breakfast." he said and continued opening the fridge. "What is she eating? She has almost nothing in here. Okay, Toni you go for groceries and we are going to tied this place up." my younger brother said. Toni's POV I was out of the door without a second thought. I would do anything for my mate but cleaning was not a priority on the to do list. Groceries was the easy task but I had to actually find a*****e open at 4 am. After driving around for half an hour I stambled upon a small store. I went in without giving it much thought and after looking at the products I felt desperate enough to call Chloe and ask what my mate liked. She was delighted to hear James was cooking breakfast and recommented pancakes with nutella and bacon. Also, coffee, juice, milk, eggs, nutella, bacon, baking powder, bananas. She also needs vitamins. Fruits like oranges, apples, avocados. If she loves nutella, she has to love peanut butter. I don't know if she likes a particular brand but i hope the gesture speaks volumes and if she doesn't like something with are three wolves. What about lunch? Meat, pasta, vegetables... Ahh I hope my brothers have better luck than me. James's POV Our mate is smart, I thought. She has countless books about all sorts of stuff. HTML 5, CSS and Javascript. Javascript language. Eventmarketing. Photography and Art. Critical Theory. One book had an interesting title "The firefighter & me". I opened it randomly and started to read a sentence. "He was thrusting in me like there is no tomorrow and every time his long c**k reached my end I saw stars" My eyes widened. Immediately, I closed the book and turned to see my brother looking at me with curiosity,
