Mixed sides

I sat down on the black dinning chair facing my mom "mom can we talk for a minute?"  She looked up from her plate and turned he chair to face me "ya sure is everything alright honey?"   "I've just been thinking a lot lately about my dad please don't try to avoid the topic I promise I'll ok with what ever the answer is just pleas-"   She sighed loudly interrupting my question "I'll tell you I think you're ready" I nodded grabbing and apple from the Wooden fruit Bowl and taking a huge bite to prepare my self.   "When I was younger my grandfather used to have this room filled with books and every time I'd come over he would be in that same room reading those book and writing in a separate black Note book. My grandma would tell me he's just imagining stuff that doesn't exist but I always had and interest so I would always hang out with him and that room but it never really seemed like he payed any attention to me. Then after 6 month he died and my mom told me he left me his black notebook. I took the black notebook and read it over and over again and what I learned shocked me" she said then took a pause and Sighed   "What does this have to do with my dad tho?" I asked.   "this book is what led me to meet your dad. So as i was saying after reading that note book  a couple times I found out that there's another world out there full of people that we don't know of but they know of us and all those books my grandpa had been reading made  it perfectly clear when you put them together that  my grandpa wasn't crazy so  I started reading those books to and searched the whole room and I found a piece of paper taped to the back of a book shelf that showed me....     how to spawn someone one from the other side and I used it. And right in front of me stood your father. at first he was mad at me and mad that a human had figured out about them but he made me promised not to tell anyone and he started checking on me everyday to see if I told anyone of course I didn't so each time he'd visit he'd spend about an hour and we got along really well and eventually a bit to well and he got me pregnan-"   "Wait what you got pregnant by a person that's from a different world?!"   "Yes you promised you'd be ok so please let me explain" she said.   I took a deep breath and nodded "alright continue"   "I told him about my pregnancy and he got mad and told me I was crazy and to not tell anyone a bout him not even you and to raise the baby my self and he left me just like that...  let me see your hand." She said  I put my slowly hand on the table confused.   She took my hand "You see your birth mark he had the same one as you but the point is don't tell anyone about this"   " I won't mom thanks for telling me" I promised and got up and hugged her  "Well it's getting late  you should head to bed" she said going back to eating.    "Alright good night mom" I said and headed upstairs to my room.   I sat on my bed still trying to let this all sink in. All these thoughts well passing trough my head was my mom crazy she can't be crazy or I wouldn't exist  does my birth mark mean anything?  what else can I do being mixed between two sides ? will humans ever find out about the other side?  Will this end in tragedy?  How long can I keep this a secret for?  What is the other side really like there must be a reason they don't want us knowing about them? Do I belong on eart? What happens if someone finds out? Who am i really what am I am I even a human? I started to have a headache so i laid down and My eyes started to close and  I fell a sleep knowing that I might not even be a human and  that there was a whole other world out there.
