All This While

Hey guys! This is my first book! Let me know if you love it! :) "........you may kiss the bride" after that everyone cheered while my mom kissed her new husband. I thought it was disgusting seeing people kiss. I mean you couldn't blame me. I was 6! The only thing I would want to kiss is a ticket to Disney Land. " They are so lovely together," an old lady said next to me. I sat there wondering who invited her. All she did was talk about how delicious the cake looked. So you mean to tell me the only reason she came to the wedding was to eat the cake? How cruel!!! Then I decided to go and congratulate my stepdad ( there is no way in hell would I ever call him dad). What happened next was something I was not prepared for. Mommy was talking to grandpa about how much grandpa was proud of her and loved to see her happy. Blah, blah, blah. I knew he wanted mommy to forgive dad for what he had done but mommy said she would never forgive him. I was too busy trying to read their lips to know what they were saying that I haven't even realized that a boy older than me was tugging at my dress. I wanted to turn around and give him the smack of his life but stepdad called to me to come over. The little boy stopped tugging at my dress and went over to stepdad. huh? Stepdad called me and not him! I went over to stepdad and he said " Sweety I want to introduce you to my son." What? how come I didn't know he had a son? He pointed at the little boy that was tugging my dress earlier." Hi!" he said. Oh, now I understood why he tugged on my dress. Maybe to let me know that he will be my stepbrother." Hi!" I said back. Right then and there I knew we would be best of friends. Or not................. Seven months later..................................................... Today was the day of my 7th birthday! Ever since the wedding, my new stepbrother has been awesome! Nah am just kidding.......he's cruel! You wanna know why? We finally thought about going to Disney Land! And guess what? He got sick on the day we were going!!!!!! We had to bring him to the hospital because he had a very bad fever. When mommy and stepdad went outside of the hospital room, I wanted to put the pillow over his head! And you know what? I did it. While I placed the pillow over his head I kept on saying" How dare you keep us from going to Disney land!" He was screaming for me to stop and that alerted the nurses including my mommy and stepdad. Before you knew it, mommy grabbed me away from him. Ever since that day, they thought I was being possessed by some demon. Jeeeez isn't it normal for kids wanting to kill their siblings? It's my birthday today now and despite what happened at the hospital that day my parents forgave me.......except luke. He had promised me he would do something that he wouldn't regret. I never thought of it much because all I saw was a little bee that couldn't even sting a person. My party was starting in 5 minutes. I invited a couple of my friends from kindergarten. Lucy was my best friend so I made her wear a tiara and pretended it was her birthday as well. We had a lot in common especially when it came to dresses. We even coincidentally wore matching pink dresses with yellow flowers. No it wasn't the exact designs but our dresses looked quite similar. I also invited Christopher, Meg, and Veronica. I didn't want to invite anyone else, well, because there were a lot of mean kids at school. I only invited my closest friends. The party started and I was very excited! Stepdad and mommy wished me a happy birthday early this morning. It was Luke I was waiting on to wish me a happy birthday. Somehow he never showed up. I guess that was my punishment for what I did to him in the hospital. It's now time for everyone to sing the birthday song to me. While everyone started singing, out of nowhere I felt a cold sticky thing fall on my head running down my dress! Everyone stopped singing and gasped. The adults looked upset as to who could've done this. Meanwhile, meg and veronica were laughing at me. I felt embarrassed. I was truly grateful though when Christopher and Lucy were not laughing and assisted with helping to take the gooey substance off. (now I know who my real friends are) The party was over and I said goodbye to Christopher and lucy. I decided to stop talking to Meg and Veronica. I thought they were my friends. They didn't even apologize to me or anything, they just left. I went back inside trying to keep the tears from falling but I couldn't. Mommy knew I wanted to cry so she hugged me and said "It's ok honey, let it all out" after she said that I started to cry "Everything is ruined, mommy!" I said. Stepdad then looked at me and motioned for me to come over to him and I did. He showed me a big box that was wrapped with a bow on top. I couldn't stop looking at the bow. It was so pink and sparkly. "Thank you stepdad this is the best birthday gift!" before he said anything I grabbed the bow off the perfectly wrapped box and stormed upstairs. Stepdad laughed and shouted " The gift is in the box, not the bow!" after he said that I stopped and went back downstairs. I started to giggle when I realized what I did. I opened the box and was amazed. A giant pink dollhouse with all my favorite barbie dolls. I quickly hugged stepdad and said, " Thank you, Carl". He was surprised when I called his name for the first time. He hugged me back and we spent the rest of the time watching a movie. I went to go check on Luke because I hadn't seen him since this morning and also to ask him as to why he missed my party. I went inside his room without knocking and was shocked at what I saw! There luke was on his bed with the same gooey thing that was poured on my dress earlier! But what I didn't understand is how he had that on his hand. He didn't even come to my party much less got in contact with me or my dress which was where the substance was on. Unless...................Oh no............. I can't believe it! "Luke you're the one that did this?!" ??? And that is the end of an interesting chapter! What do you guys think! is she gonna forgive luke or is the war just starting?
