After descending in the lift, we take our time wandering around the basement. It’s familiar to me from the previous times I’ve been through it, but it generates no specific memories. Accompanied by Alesha and Jenny, I experiment with walking out using both the vehicle and pedestrian exits, but again no recollections are stirred. I follow the road until it joins up to the one which I’d have taken had I left by the main door. I try doubling back before resuming the walk to Alfredo’s, but all is to no avail.
