Day Seven The Pageant

The sunlight woke me up a little later than usual this morning, I rolled over onto my side then noticed Hayden was gone. I looked around the room and I saw Matt laying awake staring at the ceiling, Tyler was sitting up in his bed and Colin was just leaving the room. 

"FIRE, FIRE!" Hugo shouted charging into the room, panicking us. Everyone came running into the room after him. Me, Matt and Tyler jumped out of bed, "STOP, DROP AND ROLL!" Tyrone yelled as running into the room with a fire extinguisher and a towel wrapped around his head holding another towel around his chest. Everyone suddenly looked puzzled, "where the fire?" Hayden asked. "There isn't one, but people tend to move faster when you scream that" Hugo giggled. Everyone sighed as Hugo spoke, "but I do have a text and this one is pretty major".   

Bottoms, this afternoon you will decide which top is the most datable along with a few other themes in today's beauty pageant. The bottoms will judge and the tops will perform.

"I love this! I'm so excited" Andres cheered. "I'll just grind on one of the judges," Hayden said looking at me as I giggled. The tops began chatting and bouncing off one another As they left the room to find out the judging rounds for the pageant. The bottoms started to get ready for the day ahead and relax until it was judging time. 

After putting on my swimwear I walked outside starting to get the morning sun. I laid with Tyler on the sun loungers, it wasn't long before his test to ignore Alfie presented itself. Alfie approached him and spoke, "Hey Tyler, is everything ok?" Tyler tried to ignore him but realised he couldn't so he just scowled instead. "I guess not, I wanted to speak to you about the pageant later". "Can you hear that Jake, it sort of sounds like a snake and he is in pursuit of not one but five mates". I was given the chance to ignore Alfie or to speak to him, though it was very awkward I had to stick with Tyler. He would have done so for me. "It's the sound of snakes in the wild" I replied but cringed after at my response. Alfie looked very confused with us both, "fine, what about you Jake?" He asked. "Come, let us not play with the untamed wildlife," Tyler says as he gets up and takes my hand and leads me away from Alfie who now looked upset with us.

A little later, I found myself laying with Tyler again but on the day beds, next to us was Tyrone and Colin and finally Hugo was laying at the foot of our bed. "This is the life boys, we are here relaxing and the tops are desperately practising on how to impress us" Tyler called out, while relaxing in the sun. "I don't understand what they are preparing for, I thought pageants were about skimpy swimwear, speeches and a hidden talent. I don't really see how that requires hours of effort?" Tyrone asked. "It's harder than you think but bring on the sexy swimwear I say! I'm not going to lie I already know George's hidden talent" Hugo laughed. We all responded with a giggle apart from Tyrone who face palmed himself. "What's Alfie's talent going to be, how fast he can get off with your mates in a day?" Tyler said sarcastically. "Ugh please, don't give him the time of day," Tyrone said looking at Colin. "Well I'm not talking to him either" Hugo pouted. "Can we not so harshly judge him, he's not that bad" Colin told us. "Hey, technically he's still mine so I can judge him how I like," Tyler told him firmly. "Be real Colin, do you really want a guy that has hit on everyone on these beds at least once?" Tyrone asked. "I couldn't date a guy I couldn't trust" Hugo added. "I can't believe how reluctant you all are to not let this go" Colin sighed. 

For once in my life, I decided to walk away from the drama and go get myself some juice from the kitchen. As I made myself a drink and prepared some for the boys. They charged past me to chat upstairs. I giggled at how hard they were all trying to win the pageant. I left them some drinks in the hallway, knocked on the door and left them to their business. 

I soon returned to the group, when I did things seemed to have calmed down luckily. I handed them all a drink each as Hugo spoke, "How is it looking in there?". "Madness" I laughed. 

We sat drinking our drinks for a moment relaxing in the sun until Hugo received a text telling us to take our seats at the judging panel set up n the other side of the garden. Over to our left on the grass was a white booth which looked a little like a celebrity judging panel on tv. Our names were on our white leather seats and printed on the front of the judging panel. On the far left sat Colin, then Tyrone, I was in the middle, Tyler was next to me and Hugo was on the far right. In front of us was a shiny white catwalk that extended down to the pool with red curtains at the end so hiding the contestants. "I love this, I'm so excited!" Hugo cheered. As I looked at the sheet of paper in front of us I could see there were three rounds for the Mr Gay Island Beauty Pagent. First was the swimwear competition, second was hidden talents and third was a speech.

Kicking off the swimwear round was Matt who walks out wearing his black short shorts flexing at the foot of the runway. "Yes, you boys can form an orderly queue to my right" he smiles. "Go Matt!" Hugo cheered happily. Colin chuckled and I clapped for him. "I will need a volunteer," Matt said as he jumped off the runway and pulled a bottle of oil out of his pocket and squirted it on his body. He reached out for Colin's hand who left his seat to be pulled onto the runway. Matt placed both his hands on his body letting Colin rub all the oil in. The rest of us were in laughing, clapping or banging on the table with excitement. 

Next up was Corey who had decided to coat his body, arms and parts of his face in glitter. As he comes to the foot of the runway he provides us with a lovely slut-drop. "YAS GIRL!" Hugo yelled in excitement. 

George started coming down wearing nothing but one of Tyler's jockstraps. "Oh my god!" Tyler screeched with horror. Myself and the other boys screamed with happiness and cheered for him. "Not a bad booty you have George!" I called staring at his bum cheeks as he gave us a preview. "That's not swimwear!" Tyler called in horror looking embarrassed. 

Alfie was up next who provided some simple poses of which I politely clapped to with Colin. Tyler remained silent and making it more than obvious he was uninterested while Hugo and Tyrone remained quiet. 

Andres was next and he dived perfectly into the pool. "He knows he going the wrong way right?" Tyler asked looking puzzled. Andres soon emerged from the pool at the shallow end, walking elegantly up the steps allowing the water to run down his smooth tanned skin. He continued the sexy walk and posed at the foot of the runway with a smouldering look like movie stars do in movies. "Oh yes! I like that" Tyrone cheered. The water droplets run down is body running past his abs towards his red Speedo, continuing down his smooth legs, dropping at his feet. 

We all cheered for him as he strolled away into the distance, Corey quickly ran along the runway with a towel drying the floor for Hayden who came out in a pair of tight trunks. He did a little magic mike grinding at the foot of the runway before he jumped down taking me by the hand and lifting me up onto the runway. Hugo and the others were cheering as Hayden laid me down and started to perform the magic mike moves over me. The traditional s****l thrusting and sliding. The judges went wild so I slapped Hayden's bum. As he finished he leaned down and kissed me passionately. "Magic mike doesn't f**k on stage!" Tyler called as he continued to clap.

I returned to my seat laughing but completely loving my experience. I sat back down to watch Sam give some simple poses and wrap up round one. 

I looked down at my scoreboard, I had to individually score each contestant up to ten points for their round. I scored as follows.

Matt - 10

Corey - 7

George - 9

Alfie - 5

Andres - 10

Hayden - 10

Samuel - 6

I wasn't allowed to see the other boys scores but we could discuss thoughts. We were told to allow a ten minute break before round two started. "Well, my favourite so far is George for wearing my jockstrap. Though not strictly something you'd wear to swim with, it was the funniest" Tyler told us. "Yeah that was hilarious" Hugo agreed. "I'm torn between, Andres and Hayden but Matt was really good" I replied. "Yeah Matt was my favourite" Colin agreed with me.

Round two started which was the hidden talent round. Samuel opened this round and walked to the foot of the runway. "I would like a volunteer" he called as I raised my hand and stood up to join him on stage. He then performed some basic magic tricks such as pulling things from my ears. Everyone politely clapped for Sam as he presented each trick and showed some enthusiasm. "Go babe!" Tyrone yelled. I felt that the act was cute but it wasn't spectacular.

Alfie was up next and he played some music with various objects such as pots and pans. Sadly for Alfie, only some of the panel politely clapped as he left the runway. 

Hayden does various dance moves for us from the floss, to some hip hop dancing and some other moves showing his flexibility, rhythm and skill. He received the loudest clap response so far but no one on the panel was wowed yet. 

Corey presents himself downing a pint of beer in one go, Matt provided us with some cheesy flirt lines and Andres attempts to peel a boiled egg with one hand which he ended up dropping and then laughing about having failed his trick. 

George wraps things up with providing us all a slice of cake he baked. "It's red velvet," he told us as he handed three slices out to Tyler, Tyrone and Colin. He then handed me a gluten-free slice and Hugo a lactose-free version due to our dietary requirements. "Wow this is really nice George," I said as Hugo and the other boys seemed impressed. "Well I was a dessert chef before a sous chef," he told us. 

I then looked down my score sheet to score the boys as follows.

Samuel - 5

Alfie - 4

Hayden - 8

Corey - 5

Matt - 6

Andres - 2

George - 10

Another break was given as the bottoms discussed the last round. "Well, I still think George won," Tyler told us. "Hayden was good as well, other than those two, none of the others impressed me" Colin explained. I agreed with Colin as we sat patiently for the speech round.

Round three was the final round and it was opened by George. His speech was about good food is the key to someone's heart. He told the story like a cookbook naming things as ingredients for that perfect relationship recipe.

Matt's speech had a lot of s****l innuendos and a couple of good jokes. Alfie's was about finding the right connection and building on that into something meaningful. He seemed to look at Tyler for the most part but Tyler seemed uninterested. He wrapped up his speech by admitting he had made some mistakes but sadly for him, Tyler took next to no interest. Corey's speech was fairly similar to Matt's I got the feeling the two may have worked together, like two schoolboys in the classroom. 

Andres gave a very passionate speech and told some of it in Spanish. Not one of us understood him but the language sounded so sexy and romantically spoken it made us all swoon and flutter. 

Samuel spoke his directly to Tyrone and for the most part, said very complimentary things about him. It was a sweet gesture but he seemed to almost ignore the rest of the judges. 

Hayden wrapped things up with an honesty speech about what he's learnt so far in the villa, he managed to throw in a few jokes and s****l comments here and there.

As the show wraps up me and bottoms begin scoring the final round before our papers were taken away.

Hugo quickly received a text just after the papers were taken and read it out to us.

Islanders, the bottoms have scored the tops! Four sashes and a crown will soon be given out. Mr Sexypants for the winner of round one, Mr Talent for round two, Mr Smooth for round three and finally a sash and crown for the overall Mr Gay Beauty.

The bottoms pulled open our draws under our panel and pulled out what was in them and we each stood up in a line holding the prizes. 

The tops lined up in front of us waiting for the results. Hugo received a text and then spoke "The winner of round one and being given the title of Mr Sexypants is... Hayden!". Everyone clapped as Hayden seemed surprised to have won. "Oh come off it, I'm hotter," Matt said as he clapped. "Clearly that's not true" Hayden replied as Hugo put the sash over Hayden's shoulders after he leaned down giving him a kiss on the cheek. 

Tyrone received the next text and spoke, "The winner of round two and being given the title of Mr Talent is... George!". Tyrone walked over to George, places the sash on his shoulders and kissed him politely whilst everyone clapped for him. "To be fair that's well deserved!" Corey admitted. "Can't beat a good cake" he smirked. 

Colin started to speak as George returned back in line, "The winner of round three and being given the title of Mr Smooth is... Andres". He blushed as everyone clapped for him knowing it was well deserved. Colin provided the sash, a kiss and walked away. 

"Now finally the top prize, the winner of the overall contest by receiving the highest score overall and being crowned Mr Gay Beauty is... Matt!" Tyler announced as Matt instantly cheered smugly. Tyler places the sash on his shoulders, after standing proud I placed the crown on his head. He put his arms around us both holding Tyler to his left and me to his right. "Clearly you boys know quality when you see it and I think I look good with you two babes on my arms" he smirked. Tyrone facepalmed, me and Tyler rolled our eyes and Hugo and Collin chuckled. We each gave him a kiss on the cheek at the face time. 

Matt receives a text, to inform us he won another prize which was a phone from home. "Oh wow, you will get all the gossip on what everyone's saying about you and us!" Hugo replied looking shocked. 

The show was cleared away while we relaxed in the sun and discussed the contest. We each gave opinions on the show and wondered if the contest would return but it would be the bottoms performing and the tops judging. No one knew if it would or wouldn't but I knew I would be going for the same award Matt had won. However, after a long chat, the sun started to set as we all needed to get ready for tonight's gathering as usual. For the first time since being here, I noticed Hugo starting to fit in and get along with me and Tyler. I guess you could say wounds heal, there may be some scars on both sides that are unlikely to go away or at least be forgotten but things were on the mend. Hugo was giving us both some of his own self made aftershaves he thought worked best with our outfits and personalities. I had no idea Hugo was a fragrance master but then I hadn't exactly spent too much time with him. It was nice to see the three of us laughing and seeming to somewhat bond together. Colin received a text and as he looked at it he noticed it was just for us bottoms to read.

Bottoms, you have an important task tonight. Matt has returned from his phone call home, the tops are currently waiting for you by the fire pit, please head downstairs and join them.

We all walked outside to see the tops standing and sitting around the fire. We noticed the boys who won sashes were still wearing them as well as Matt wearing his crown. "As if you're still wearing the crown" Hugo laughed. "Hey, I earned this! I am your master now" Matt smirked. "Who was your phone call with?" Tyler asked. "Oh, it was a video call from my mum and sister. It was good to catch up with them and find out what has been happening to them whilst I have been away" he explained. "Does anyone know why we are here?" Alfie asked. "The bottoms have some task to do but we don't know what it is yet" Hugo explained. "It could be a surprise on the spot re-coupling" I wondered. The tops all looked at each other nervously, "s**t yes, it could be" Alfie agreed. I soon received the text everyone was waiting for and read it out,

Islanders, the bottoms have a task to do. They will decide which tops they think are the least datable by judging them on who is most and least likely to leave the island with a boyfriend. Bottoms you may group together to discuss your thoughts and feelings but you will all need to separate and vote individually. The boys who are voted the least datable will be vulnerable and will be at risk of leaving the villa for good!

"Oh s**t! Are you serious? We have to decide their fates" Tyrone gasped. "Well, I think I know who's definitely going" Tyler sighed. "This is horrible, I don't want to send someone home, why can't the public decide that?" Hugo cried. The groups starts to slowly divide as some last words are exchanged, I walked over to Hayden giving him a hug. "I'll make sure your safe" I whispered to into his ear. He smiled, giving me a soft kiss on the lips before I joined my group. 

The group separated leaving the tops by the fire pit and the bottoms walking off to a quiet corner of the garden.  "Let's just all vote for Alfie as least likely and then it's over and done with," Tyler told us. "That's not what the text told us to do and you know it!" Colin snapped. Samuel who was walking over overhearing the outburst cut into our conversation, "Considering our places on the show are all at risk you should do this fairly to each of us. At the end of the day, we've all had ups and downs this week but as a whole, we are all good people. I don't want someone to leave, all because of a popularity contest".  We remained silent looking at one another before Samuel returned to his group.

"This is really hard, we have only been here for one week but it feels like a month" Hugo sighed. "I know who is most likely to leave with a boyfriend and let's be serious about it," Tyrone told us. "I guess Samuel at this stage in the game may be the most likely" Tyler agreed. "I guess we can all rule out Samuel then," Hugo told us. "But we all individually decide a vote" Colin pointed out. "Who's next then?" Tyler asked. "Matt won the contest, making him the most desirable, we can rule him out?" Colin asked. "Agreed, Matt should stay," Tyler told us. "Yes, well, whatever's going on there then. That's decided" Colin added. "What do you mean? There's nothing going on between me and Matt!" Tyler replied defensively. "Whatever you say" Colin sighed. I wondered what Colin meant by his comment, I know that Tyler had once enquired about himself and Matt working together but I had told him it wouldn't. I hadn't heard anything from him since. I assumed that small spark had died out. I am more than aware him and Alfie are now dead and buried, we all are, but I thought he was moving onto Corey? I wondered if I should keep an eye on Tyler and how he behaves with Matt? "Yes me and Matt were only together a short while but we all know how the two of us felt about each other when we got separated" I added to the conversation, making myself relevant to Matt's future. "Do you want to get back together with Matt?" Tyrone asked. I paused for a moment, everyone stared at me, I wasn't sure what to say but I thought honesty was the way forward. "I don't know what I want, truthfully. All I know is that me and Matt have a connection" I explained. "Sounds like Matt is safe then," Tyrone told us. "I want to stand up for Hayden, I think he's really great and I really want him to be happy," I told the group. "Which is code for, he's sweet but I want to break up with him" Tyler interrupted. "That's not what I said!". "Babe, it's fine we know what you meant". "Hayden is really hot, if Jake and he did break up, I'm sure one of us will take him off his hands" Hugo pointed out and winked. "Are you after all my men?" I asked sarcastically. "You better watch out," Hugo said playfully as we both smiled at one another. So we've established, Jake wants Matt back and Hugo wants Hayden from Jake. This is a really interesting chat" Tyrone said with a big smile. I sighed knowing that was not what I said about Matt. They wasn't listening to me and only listening to parts relatable to a juicy story. "What about George?" Hugo asked. "He's so sweet, he's just not found the right boy yet. Newbies will join in time and I am sure he will find the one" I explained. "What about Alfie?" Tyrone asked. "I just want to say" Colin interrupted but being cut off my Tyrone, "let's hear Tyler out on this one. His say should be most valued as he's coupled with him". "I honestly don't care about Alfie anymore I've moved on," Tyler told us. "You may not be bothered but some of us are. I didn't want to hurt you Tyler and I don't think Alfie would have intentionally either. Maybe I was silly to fall for his little tactic but I have still been chatting to him, I do genuinely like him and want to see how we develop. Who knows maybe I will be his boyfriend? But now I feel like I won't get that chance all because he's lost the respect from the four of you. It would mean the world to me if you could give me and Alfie a chance" Colin explained looking sad. 

For once Tyler was speechless after hearing that. "Nice speech, why don't we move onto the newbies? Andres and Corey" I suggested.  "Andres was voted Mr Smooth there is no way he won't leave the villa with a boyfriend" Tyrone pointed out. "I agree" I called. "What are you implying?" Hugo asks while smiling. "Since we all confessing, yes I have a little crush on Andres but I am still very much into Sam" Tyrone admitted. "Well I'm certainly into Corey, he's so manly and so laddish," Tyler said while smiling. "My vote is for Corey," Hugo said as Colin agreed. "Come on!  Andres is hotter!" I disagreed. "Look we've all spoken. Discovered Jake wants Matt back, Hugo what's Hayden from Jake, Colin wants to date Alfie, I have a crush on Andres and Tyler has a crush on Corey. Let's just go and vote separately. We could stand here for hours debating this or we can all turn around and get this over and done with" Tyrone explained.

We all started to separate individually, I walked over by the pool standing by the shallow end and received the message I was dreading. It was asking me to reply with the name of the boy I thought was most likely to leave the villa with a boyfriend. The loser would be determined by the least amount of votes. I thought back to our conversation, we did agree Sam would be the one. I couldn't shake the feeling that Matt could be that person, even if it wasn't me. Matt could be over me, but Matt is confident and smooth and I knew with new bottoms joining in the future, if one of us didn't date him another would. I looked down at my phone, I was very conflicted, one vote for one boy. Sam seemed like the right choice, Matt felt like the one I wanted to write but I promised Hayden I would protect him. I'm his partner and it is still my job to protect him, he's incredibly sweet and has been good to me.  I looked down at my phone once again, I felt bad but I replied with Matt's name. 

I received another text to reply with the name of the boy least likely to leave the villa with a boyfriend and this person would be vulnerable to leave the villa for good. 

I felt upset having to send someone home, I felt the most deserved was Alfie but I feel Colin's speech may have saved his place with the others. I felt that the four of us, minus Colin would not date him. On the other hand, maybe Colin only threw the boyfriend card into his speech because it was needed for a secured vote. Is that really how he feels? I'm not sure if they would end up being a couple, does Alfie even like Colin? With new bottoms joining Alfie's head could be turned. I looked won at my phone and decided to vote for Alfie. 

The bottoms one by one returned to the fire pit with the tops. We all greeted each other as Hugo's phone bleeped and he read out the message.

Islanders, the top who was voted most datable is Sam.

Tyrone smiles turning to him, kissing him on the lips as we all clap for them. Tyrone's phone soon bleeps, he looked down to read out his text.

Islanders, the following boys have been voted least datable. Alfie, Andres and Hayden.

Everyone seemed shocked. "Who the hell voted Hayden!" I demanded. "Wait there's more!" Tyrone said cutting me off.

The boys voted least datable will now face a public vote. One will survive and the other two will fall and will be dumped from the villa.

"So now I have to just hope and wait around to know if Alfie gets chucked out or not?" Colin snapped. "Are you taking the piss! After Alfie has worked his way through the group, Hayden doesn't deserve to be in this position! Who the hell voted for him?" I demanded looking Colin straight in the eyes. "Hang on, that's why your all mad at me? Innocent flirting!" Alfie interrupted as Matt grabbed hold of him, shaking his head, reminding him now was not the time to get into the middle of a war between the bottoms. "Well I voted Alfie to go" Tyler admitted seeming proud. "I also voted Alfie" I said sounding annoyed. "One of you three has betrayed Jake and Hayden. I will find out which of you it was!" Tyler yelled. "Alfie is the one who should stay!" Colin yelled. "Hayden was voted the sexiest guy! How could he possibly go?" I yelled back. "Shut up, all of you! Everyone's on edge right now, maybe an early night will clear our heads for tomorrow?" Tyrone suggested. "We all know exactly who it is you want!" Colin told me firmly as he stepped forward looking into my eyes. My next move was a reflex, it happened before I even knew what I had done. In one swift motion, I backhanded Colin across face, as everyone gasped looking shocked.
