Allis eyes
Alli was in an apartment building on the forty-eighth floor, in Ohio just a few weeks later. Ohio was a f****d off state, all she got told was to go to this apartment and collect a man in a wheel chair. She knew the militia would start bombing designated areas soon and they were in one of the areas. So she had to be quick and get her assignment back to the transport van. As Alli came up the hall she noticed the man was rolling towards her. Upon seeing her he knew it was time to go so he decided no time was better than now. He nodded to the woman when she addressed him by name, in the corner of the hall they saw a young girl. He knows the child and tells her to come along. He knew as well as Alli this was no place for a child. By the time they made it to the bottom of the building they were now a group of 15 people each were on different floors. Before exiting the building Alli commanded that the children be picked up and carried because they were going to have to run. Between the fact that the bombs were close to go off, and the army had patrols out, she couldn't allow the innocent people to be left behind. She knew if it did come down to it she would have to do what she must to ensure the man in the wheel chairs safety above the rests but she prayed it didn't come to that.
The group understood her position and followed her anyway. The army had controlled the city and all living suffered within. To them the woman was a sign of hope, and escape. Being in a wheel chair did not slow the man down that she had to save. He was in his fifties, and knew it was this woman he would follow no matter what. He was a scientist and he had gathered information for the militia. Once they realized the army was doing experiments on humans, he had to get taken out of there. Alli kept them down in the tunnels and ditches, as they ran in a westward direction. They had just reached the last tunnel when a bomb went off and the shock wave hit them. It threw them into the tunnel. Alli's though it went off to soon before she went unconscious....
She awoke minutes later, the man in the chair had roused her and they checked on the rest of the group. No one was seriously hurt, there was minor head bumps and bruising on many. Alli steadily told them that they must keep going. They ran on, and within fifteen minutes they were all crammed in the van. Alli called Joey and reported her status. She now had the task of getting them out of the state safely and on to base.
