Zii's Point of View: Lost in thought, here I am in my office thinking about what happened earlier. Right now my mind is hazy and I don't know what to do, but I snap back into reality when I heard knocking on the door. I said come in to whoever person knocking on it but the only person that knocks on my door is my secretary and when the door swung open I am not mistaken it is indeed my secretary I ask her what is that she wants to inform me and what she said next made my system go crumbling--- "Mr. Martinez wishes to meet you" "Wha-what? I stuttered out of nervousness and said this hastily, "Don't let him come in" "Of course, miss, I will inform Mr. Martinez immediately bowed down, and was about to leave when I said, "No, let him in." "Yes, of course, I will inform him, then I sat in my chair trying to compose myself a few seconds after my secretary exited. Yes came in with his dashing black suit and his hair fixed neatly. But I already saw it earlier. Yes, you read that right I met him earlier and he is also the reason I was in deep thought and made my mind go hazy. He was about to say something, but I had already talked before he could say something. "If you're here to talk about Maxi's proposal, I have already handed the documents to my team and the company's executives. It's not solely my decision, even though I am the CEO, her proposal is under data processing and verification, so do tell her that as she doesn't get her hopes up about her proposal being approved, so if that's what you came here for, then leave{ I tried to sound cold as possible} but zii, that's not what I came here for{he said gently} "then what is it?" " I came here because I miss you, I couldn't get close to you earlier because there are so many people and I'm kinda scared"{he said in a soft tone} "Oh, come on you miss? Are you kidding me?" Please don't tell that lie to me. We both know you don't miss me{ I didn't know my eyes started to water} You know I tried so hard to forget you for goddamn 10 years and you're making it harder for me to do so when you show up so suddenly. Then you tell me that lie that you miss me? { I cried harder, then he rushed to me, faced him the swivel chair, and kneeled down trying to calm me down, but it made me cry even more. " I hate you, I hate you! know that, you left me hanging now you tell me you miss me don't lie because it hurts{ I hit his shoulder } leave "no, I want to stay with you" "Leave!!!" he stood up but stop midway and looks at me before exiting my office after he left I cried and cried I know he is sincere when he said those words but it's hard to believe when had feelings for my friend.... On the other hand.... Narrator's Point of View: The man exited the office and you could see on his back that he was worn out and gloomy and is about to leave the premises. But he stopped and went to Zii's Secretary in the room next to her and entered the room. The secretary stood up and asked if the meeting with her boss was done and the man said yes and gave the secretary something and said " give that to her along with the letter, tell her that I know it's hard to believe but what's written in there is true and oh! don't come in yet maybe an hour later and bring her some food and drink when you do thank you I will take my leave "Wait, sir" Yes "Did something happen to Miss?"
