Pearl: Luminous

"Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from within" I remember my mentor said. Closed eyes, I could feel my heartbeat, motioned with rhythm and my body as it goes along with music, wearing shoes felt like pins and needles. I didn’t care how much work and moves it would take. I felt like there’s no greater feeling in the world than moving up along with piece of music and letting everything disappear, at least. Ballet became my ultimate passion ever since I was Six. I did a final twist and open my eyes as I heard several hand claps from my grandmother. “You did great sweetie,” She said, and give me a warm hugs. “Really? Grandma, Did I do well?” I replied. “Yes, you’re perfect princess” I hear my grandfather say as he comes along with us, I put a brightest smile I could give to them. “Thank you grandpa, do you think I can win tomorrow’s competition? I’m sure daddy and mommy would be happy if a win tomorrow.” I said and imagine my parent’s face with warm smile for me. They looked each at other as if they talking through their glances. “We’ll come for you tomorrow sweetie,” he said, “We’ll be there to watch you.” “Thank you grandma, grandpa! You guys are the best!” I said and give them a hug. “Alright, you have to go home in your Dad and Mom, the sun is down” She said. I laughed. “Okay, I’ll go now, grandma, grandpa. See you tomorrow, Love you both.” “We love you too princess, Take care” He said. I turned my back on them and open the front door, I could see my nanny with the four body guards waiting for me beside my Grandparent’s house. They bowed before me and open the Car’s door. I gave them half smile before I entered to the car and we’re off to go to my parent’s house. Later on, over the car’s window I could see the mansion, surrounded with cctv and body guards in their uniform. I entered the mansion and saw no one but the maids and guards. I headed to my room and take a shower. I felt every water drops as it flow down through my body. Dad is an official figure, a politician who worked in a government, and Mom is with him, helping him out in his career, serving people. Maids and guards are the people I see every day, sometimes I could only see my parents once a week, and they are both busy. I didn’t bother to eat, and just lay down in my bed, I felt so tired from practiced I had this day. The room is dark, it felt cold and empty. I wish I could have a good night kiss from mom and dad that could warm me, just like the old times, I wished.
