Chapter 6 - learning and understanding

“What? No I won’t.. as much as I don’t want you as a mate, there is no one else that could be,I won’t ever reject you even though I despise you, we have to get along” he quickly answered.

”why...you hate me and I hate you! We are enemies! We cannot be seen together, I cannot be your Luna, I’m not fit to be one!” I screamed as tears rolled down my face

He just looked at me like I just killed a bunny

”Cait, you just fainted and you’re telling me this now?!!” He screamed back as anger filled his eyes, turning them red, his wolf wanted to come out..

I began crying covering my face because I thought he was going to hit me...

Then I looked up, his eyes were full of regret and his eyes were glazed.

”i’m... s...sorry I didn’t meant to scare you, I’m sorry...” He said after he realised what had just happened.

“I just let my wolf take control, he likes your wolf, very much” He then said like nothing had just happened.

i hate him, WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM!!!! But I kept my cool and said

”you don’t need to apologise, I shouldn’t of said that. I shouldn’t of asked you to reject me, but why would you want to be a mate that can’t even,, defend themselves?” I asked innocently, my eyes started going fuzzy knowing that I was going to cry AGAIN.

seriously, I have got to stop being so emotional...

”because I don’t want to die alone, I don’t want to be a lone Wolf, my pack will fall if I don’t have a Luna by my side, as much as we hate each other, we cannot leave each other.”

“But we need to be honest with each other, tell everything that has happened, our past, what we want to be. Like I said, we have to tell each other everything because we know nothing about each other” he said.

I have never seen this side of him, calm and not a complete man w***e, it’s a change..

As he said this, I pulled up my sleeves, forgetting that I had bruises and scars along them... I was too late, he had noticed.

“What are those? Why do you have scars and bruises?” He said as took my hand like he was trying to comfort me... wasn’t working...

”uhh nothing, it’s nothing just the.. past” I quickly said as I attempted to pull my sleeves down, yeah, that did work..

“ Cait, who did this to you?” He said seriously to my face

Damn, he was intimidating, but also extremely sexy and... WHAT AM I DOING?! I shouldn’t be imaging this UGHHJAKWIW just forget about it

“my ex, my family and a girl..” I said quietly but he heard it.

”Why would they do this to you?!!!” He shouted as he ran his hand through his hair

“ I’m taking you to my house like I was going to and YOU ARE going to explain every detail! You hear me?!” He screamed, he turned on the car and started to drive

“ Will, you know I can’t renter your pack land, I’m your enemy, I can’t please Will!!” I said as I started to panic...

I started breathing extremely heavily and I started shaking, well don’t we all hate panic attacks.

”s**t!” Will said as he pulled the car over again, he got out of the car and ran to my side and opened the door.

He engulfed me into a hug and I calmed down.

How did he that? Like calm me down, no one has ever done that.

” Will I’m fine, I just panicked” I said as I tried to catch my breath

”I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t of shouted at you and I should of listened” he held me tight and I felt his hot breath fan my neck.

Like I knew what he wanted to do

“Will, I know you want to mark me, but.. not yet, you don’t know anything about me, I’m just a girl that has panic attacks, i’m surprised that I didn’t have one when Winnie slapped me today..” I said as my eyes glazed.

” Don’t worry about her, I’ll sort her out when we get home..” he kissed me on the forhead but I ignored the sparks.

“Why do you want to know about these” I said pointing at my bruises and scars

” because I want to kill who ever hurt my mate” He said as he held my hand and put his head in his other hand.

I took his hand away from his face and lifted his chin and said

“these were here before you even knew me, they’re in the past, I will tell you but not right now, I’m not ready” I explained, one again ignoring the sparks.

” Okay, you promise”

“ I promise”

He closed the door and got back to his side of the car, and began to drive again. I just put my head against the window and fell asleep...
