Cornelia's POV
I had been back in my coven for a couple of days, and I felt like every time I turned around, an elder was going to be there, ready to punish me. Trying to act normal was very strange; I knew they worked out what I did, there was no way they couldn't have by now.
"Lia, are you in here?" Dianna said, pushing my bedroom door open slightly.
"Yes, I'm here," I called out.
"How are you doing?" She asked, closing the door behind her.
"Not great, honestly. Have you heard anything from the elders?"
"No, nothing. Apparently, no one's seen them in days."
"They have to know, right? That's why they've locked themselves in, they're trying to decide what to do with me."
