The lift opens and we step out, Elon guides me around the room and I see Eros watching him from the other side. His eyes stay fixed on us as Elon introduces me as his date.
I'm nothing of the sort. The more people he introduces me to the more confused I get. Shouldn't I be speaking to Eros by now and trying to get him to agree to the contract? I expected Elon to guide me straight to Eros to get to business, but if anything, he's going to everyone but Eros. Why?
Everyone is respectful, but I see a few of the guys gawping at me as if they recognise me. It seems to make Elon smile far too much when someone looks at me as if they know who I am.
