Entwined Paths

After meeting up for several times, the day of the presentation to the main hostess comes, they decided to meet up at Anderson's house, before heading there because if it were anywhere else, Anderson will be late for sure.

It is finally the day of presenting, Elle and I have bonded and gotten closer over the past couple of days, I think if today goes well and the host thinks well of our work and appreciates it, I'll ask her out on a date.

When we all got to Anderson's house, everyone was dressed formally, Anderson, Thomas, and I had suits on, and Elle had a black dress that came down to her knees, she had her hair in a low bun and 2 strands of hair falling infront of her face, making her look extra bright.

" Come on guys let's go, my driver is waiting! " I was so excited, working with them was so fun, Thomas was so humorous, Anderson was very clumsy, and Miguel was just so sweet, he made sure all of us were comfortable when we went to work on the presentation at his place, especially me since I was the only girl in the group, he lived alone in a penthouse, and was bored most of the time, I went to his place two days ago, I got him a gift and cupcakes because it was his birthday, but no one celebrated him, I felt so bad for him. I wonder why his parents wouldn't do anything for his birthday, considering he is an over achiever of a person.

As we got there, I felt overwhelmed by the thought of presenting in front of all the people at that company, it was nowhere near as big as my parent's company, yet somehow it made me feel lost and intimidated.

They presented very well, they flowed through each side and idea easily, Thomas and Anderson had worked extra well on the presentation, Elle and Miguel had helped but they weren't as good and talented as Both their teammates when it came to making presentations, since the most important part of the presentation should be visula aids, it helps with the persons imagination and they can imagine what the campaigns would look like. After presenting, they took a table and started chatting all together, the host then came up to them and thanked them on their ideas, everyone had loved their ideas, the conversation between them and the host went backand forth, the host then proposed that that the first campaign they'll hold will be the marathon that they had given as an idea.

I felt so good that they loved our work, while leaving Anderson suggested that we go celebrate with ice cream," Sure ", said Thomas, " Yess, let's go ", exclaimed Elle, she looked so cute. " Well sure then, let's go guys ", I said.

When we got to the local ice cream shop, we all ordered, Elle, got chocolate and vanilla, Thomas and Anderson got vanilla and birthday cake, and I got mint chocolate, " Eww, who orders mint chocolate " Elle puffed in disgust, " I do , is there anything wrong with that? " I said. I mean, it's a great flavor. "Sure", she said, and we continued arguing about ice cream flavors the whole time.

I can't believe he doesn't like chocolate and vanilla ice cream, ugh, after we finished our ice cream cones, we went to the arcade, " I haven't been here in a while ", I said, " Yess same, ever since I started working at my uncle's company I was always busy ", said Anderson, all of us have bonded well because of this project, especially Miguel and I, he is just the sweetest guy ever and we relate to eachother in so many ways.

" Let's split up into 2 groups " said Thomas, " Yeaa sure ", I replied," Miguel and I can be a great team", I said playfully, and so we started playing, the team who got more tickets at the end, will go into any shop in this area and buy one thing they like but the team who lost will pay.

They played for a long time and when they checked the tickets, Elle and Miguel got more tickets, they got 23 while Thomas and Anderson only got 19.

" Alright guys, get ready to hand us all the money in your wallet ", I laughed as everyone joined in. I ended up picking a book that looked nice, and Elle got a necklace and they all went to Miguel's house to hang out.

" Ok, it's getting late ", said Thomas, " I'll head off now ", "Yea same, cya later team " exclaimed Anderson. " Ok, good night guys".

Elle stayed for a bit longer to help Miguel clean his place up after the mess we all caused.

" So, do you have any hobbies, any extracurricular you like? " ... " All we ever talked about ever since we met was the campaigns and what not." I said getting slightly bored with the butterflies sitting inside me.

" Yess I noticed "..." I play the guitar in my free time, and I practice football, what about you, do you practice or like anything in specific? " Replied Miguel. " Yes, of course, I play basketball and I take piano lessons, but it isn't my favorite thing ever, my parents got me to play the piano from since was seven so they can show off in front of their friends." We continued to talk for a while.

" Oh god, look at the time, it's already 11:00 pm , I have a meeting to attend early in the morning, I have to go! " I grabbed my purse and said good bye to Miguel and then headed to the door.

Oh, I wanted to ask her out." Wait! Elle wait up ", I ran after her.

She turned around and smiled, " Yea, what's up? " She said. " Well " ... " I was thinking... do you maybe wanna go out sometime this week, I feel like we clicked directly and I was hoping we can ", I trailed off... " Omg yes! "..." totally whenever you want, but I'm free this Saturday " she said with a smile. " Yea of course we can go on Saturday! ", they hugged until Miguel pulled away telling her to get going since its getting dark.
