Triangle of Love

I said SHIFT!!

After taking mum and Sharon on a tour of the house we walk her to her car. She was happy with the house and impressed with the dormitory level and goes on to advise me to keep trying to connect with Kali. We say our goodbyes and watch her car leave down the driveway.

“Thank you Sharon. If you need anything please let me know.”

“Will do. I’m going to prep dinner and then I’ll be up to freshen up Miss Smith. Some of the mother’s will be dropping off some food.”

“Please take note of who brings food so we can repay them for their help.”

We nod to each and separate, Sharon goes through the patio entrance and I towards the front door of the house. Before I reach the door I get a mind link from James.

Boss it’s happening again, the rogues are doing exactly what Kyle said they did last night.

West leading to south boarder.

On my way.

Turning back and running past the patio Sharon entered and down towards the south part of the house where the dormitory and gym entrance is located and run into the trees

Nik. Ring dad and check if there’s any activity at the south boarder.

Sure.

Running as fast as I can to the boarder I shift while running to get there quicker. I’m nearing the boarder I see our wolves chasing a rogue back to the boarder before another at least one hundred metres further away runs in the direction of the house.

Dad said no activity at the south or north.

So it’s only happening here for sure. I quickly decide to chase the second rogue, before I am close enough to catch him he does a sharp turn making me miss him and sprints back to the boarder. Chasing him back to the boarder, further down another rogue runs in the direction of the house, giving up my first chase to chase down the next rogue he does the same thing and heads back before another makes a run exactly the same as the other rogues.

Just as I was about to give up the chase to chase the third rogue Penny comes out from behind the tree and tackles the rogue snapping his neck in one swift move. I continue my chase and leap up and land on the rogue pinning him down with my paws, biting down hard on his shoulder I rip his limb from his body before I shift back. The rogue is growling and whimpering at the loss of his limb.

James tell everyone to pair up and spread out along the boarder.

Penny comes walking over dragging behind her the knocked out rogue she caught and grabbing me shorts in the passing tree and throwing it at me.

Looking back down at the rogue I caught, he’s bleeding a lot.

“Shift!” The rogue just growls at me.

“Shift now!” he doesn’t budge but continues to growl at me.

Using my alpha tone “I said SHIFT!!” to my surprise it is not a ‘he’ but a female wolf around the same age as myself.

Kyle arrives and stands next to Penny.

“keep an eye on that one.” Referring to the rogue that Penny caught. Turning my attention back to the female werewolf bleeding in front of me.

“Where is Dane?”

She spits at my feet and doesn’t reply.

“Ok have it your way.” I turn to Penny “See if you can get something out of her before we end her.”

Penny smiles with a sadistic look on her face, scarily walking slowly towards the rogue, each step like a panther stalking it’s prey.

“You’re going to tell me what I want to know and I promise I’ll make your death quick.”

“Go fck yourself!” she spits back at Penny.

“Tsk tsk tsk fine then.” She says in a calm tone.

Penny pulls out a knife from the side pocket of her pants, crouch’s down then thrusts it into the rogues belly making the rogue scream out in pain.

“I can do this all day and let you heal and do it all over again but I have things to do. Now tell me what you know.”

“Fck off! I ain’t going to heal from the silver knife! I’m fcked you b***h!” she’s screaming at Penny.

“Oh wait you mean this knife?”

Penny pulls the knife out to give the rogue a better look at it. She’s looking a little crazy touching the tip and the blade of the knife and cuts herself then watches it heal.

“Got to love the human ingenuity. This is a plastic kitchen knife, just as strong and sharp as a normal silver knife. So you’re not fckd for now but you will be soon.”

Penny smiles and puts the knife back into the rogues belly making her scream again. Looking at Kyle he’s enjoying every bit of this torture and I’m sure he’s going to get himself a set of those knives.

“So?” Penny raises a brow at the rogue waiting for an answer.

“I don’t know anything!”

Penny shrugs her shoulders and slowly pulls the knife up towards her sternum cutting her open as if she was gutting a fish making the rogue’s scream turn more into a cry.

“All I know is he wants the alpha’s son’s mate.” She says in a weak voice. Her face quickly losing colour and looking like she’s about to pass out.

“What does he want with her?” penny shakes her to wake her up but she’s passed out clearly from the amount of blood she has lost, she won’t be able to heal from the loss of a limb that is bleeding profusely and the big gaping hole in her belly. Disappointed with the rogue Penny takes back her knife, cleans it and puts it back in the side pocket of her pants.

“Useless, she’s done.” Penny reaches for the rogues neck about to rip it out but I stop her.

“Wait! Kyle grab that one and Penny bring her and follow me.”

I lead them towards the opposite end of the tree line where the boarder is. Beyond the boarder is a large field that goes for miles. Scattered in the field are a few trees here and there big boulder’s of rock everywhere.

Standing at the boarder I can see our wolves in a long line across the boarder some in human form and others in wolf but all standing in a fighting stance waiting for my call to move.

In the distance I can see and smell rogues hiding in the distance behind the boulders of rocks. Knowing that they are watching us, I step out of the tree line and past the boarder line followed by Kyle and Penny with the two rogues. Penny coldly dragging the she wolf by her hair like a doll. Kyle hands the other rogue to me, who is slowly starting to wake up. Picking him up I raise the rogue up in the air holding it by the throat and tighten my grip. With my nails digging into his neck the wolf wakes up in a panicked state and starts whimpering at the pain.

“YOU WANT MY MATE! YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO KILL ME TO GET TO HER!”

I look at Penny and nod my head. She steps forward with the she wolf and raises her the same way I do, holding her by the neck and tightening her grip.

“IF ANYONE DARES TO CROSS INTO OUR TERRITORY AGAIN, YOU WILL FACE THE SAME CONSEQUENCES!”

As if on cue Penny and I both dig our nails into the rogues trachea and tear it from their bodies. Holding the bare bone in the air and the tongue dangling at the top end and dropping the lifeless bodies on the ground. The display is so gruesome that blood have splattered all over our bodies and blood is dripping from our hands.

At the drop of the bodies our wolves howl while some growl, if I was the opposition I would be retreating to leave and never come back, the atmosphere was spine chilling making me a proud. With my chest heaving up and down, I can feel a rumble in my chest and let out the loudest deafening growl I have ever done, echoed by the rest of my wolves. I can see in the distance wolves running away. I turn back to Kyle.

“Hang these bodies up in the open field as a warning.”

Kyle happily nods and instructs a few of the wolves. James still in his wolf form trots up to me followed closely by Kyle.

Good work you two.

Anything else you want me to do before my crew and I get some rest?

No I think that’s it for now. Make sure to get something to eat, there’s going to be a lot of food I think.

James nods and runs off towards the other wolves. Kyle smiling and walking quickly to catch up to Penny.

“Where can I get me some knives like that?” eagerly asking with a smirk on his face. I just roll my eyes at him and chuckle.

“Why order them when you can take it from the kitchen.”

Kyle looks at me then back at Penny, then sighs, we both laugh at him.

“Take one then.” I say to him. Eyes wide open looking excited like a kid about to open his Christmas present.

“oh thank you boss, thank you!”

“I’ll let Sharon know of the missing knives and get her to order some more.” Laughing while walking back to the house.

“Anything else you want us to do?”

“keep an eye on the boarder, if any rogues cross into our territory kill them on the spot and hang their bodies at the boarder.”

Kyle smiles and runs to join James and the others.

Penny and I walk back to the house in a awkward silence. I want to ask her if she’s coming to visit Kali but I think I already know the answer to that. She breaks the awkward silence.

“Well that was one hell of a show you put on back there.” Lightly laughing.

“Me? How about the torture you gave the poor wolf?” she rolls her eyes at me and laughs “For a minute there I thought you were enjoying it.” Laughing at her remembering the crazy sadistic look on her face.

“No one but Kyle enjoyed all that torture the she wolf was getting.”

“I swear you gave him more tips on how to have more fun in torturing our enemies.”

Entering the house and heading up the stairs we part at the top. I already know the answer but I ask anyway.

“You coming after?”

“Another time. I have to go into town to do some stuff.”

I don’t reply but sigh and go to the room. Nik still on his laptop typing away like a mad man. He looks up then back to his laptop then suddenly snaps back up to look at me realising what he’s looking at.

“You looked like you just got back from a war!”

“Rogues. Dead.” Describing it in two words.

“Oh how fun.” In a bored tone and looking back to his laptop.

“Sharon should be up soon to give Kali a wash. Can you help her please bro? You’re the only one I trust.”

“I maybe gay bro but you still won’t be comfortable with me touching your mates naked body and you will most probably storm through the doors half way through her wash and see her naked body, then what are you going to do when you see her like that?” I don’t reply his question “mmhmm you won’t be able to control your wolf. I’ll ask Penny, I’m sure she’ll do it.”

He’s right, I don’t know how I will react if I see her like that and I don’t want it to get in the way of our relationship when she wakes up. I am pretty much a deprived wolf right now, I’m hungry for her.

“Ok thanks bro. Knock on the bathroom door if they are here and I’ll come out to let them get started.”
