I wanted to tell Alex everything, but my instinct told me if I told him now there would only be two responses from him; Alex will think I'm crazy or he'll fall back on his Lycan theory. So I just shook my head and gave him a small smile, "Just lack of sleep."
"You can sleep at home all day." Alex answered while pulling one corner of his mouth into a smile that never fails to make my heart stop beating for a split second. Even his waking hair doesn't detract from the effect of his smile.

Mum was in the kitchen when I visited the house. She was cooking a casserole for dinner. Alex was picking me up in 3 hours so I decided to keep myself busy helping Mum cook. Meanwhile Dad just got home at 5 o'clock.
