I eventually decided to move to Seattle with Lily. It was a hard decision, but it was one I had to take. The hardest part of it all was leaving my little daughter behind. It broke my heart, tore me into pieces. I had never for once, left Vivian, but here I was. Leaving her alone with my parents. As much as I would have loved to take her with me, I couldn't. I had no idea what was in stock for me. I wanted to see how things were first. Vivian was asleep when it was time for me to leave. The night before I had left, I had read for her, her favorite bedtime story. Then she had fallen asleep and I had sang into her ears as I played with her raven curls. Just staring at her made me wonder if I was the one who had actually had this child. Made me wonder why I was so lucky to have her as my child. It was morning and my flight was scheduled for nine. I looked at my mum. Mum had been happy for me once I told her the news, but then there had been pain here eyes. Pain to watch me go. "This is going to be a great start up for you." Mum promised. I nodded my head and then she kissed my forehead. I hugged my siblings and begged them to take care of Vivian. It broke my heart that I didn't get to tell Vivian goodbye. If I did, she was not going to let me go. Dad drove me to the airport. "Why did mum refuse to take me with you to the airport?" I asked my Dad. "Ahhh your mum is scarred that she might cry all the way and refuse to let you go." He told me. "Oh." I smiled weakly. Then the started to act funny and then Dad had to pack so he could check what was wrong. As he checked through the engine, I made mental notes. Created goals for myself. I was going to make it so that my family wouldn't have to suffer the way we did anymore. I wanted to get rid of Dad's old beetle and buy him one of those cars he was always admiring on TV. I wanted to get everyone something. It was my responsibility as their child after all. They had sacrificed so much for me, it was high time for me to do the same for them. "What was wrong with it?" I asked as soon as Dad got into the car. "Not sure yet." He said. "Let's hope it works out fine." It didn't work. But after probably twenty trials, the car started once again. "Faulty engine." Dad said after he had slammed the bonnet shut and had come back to his seat. Then he drove off to the airport. I had never been on a plane before and I was totally freaked out. "What if the plane crashes?" I asked Dad. Dad laughed at me. "It's not going to sweetheart. You'll be fine." Then he became quiet and said. "I wish I made enough money for you and everyone else at home. That way you would know what it feels like to be on a plane." I saw the pain and guilt in his eye and then I held his hand firmly. I looked into his eyes and communicated with him through my own eyes. He understood that I meant for him to be strong. No words were needed. My flight was called and then I told my Dad goodbye, gave him the tightest hug ever. "Take care of Vivian for me." I told  him. "Promise me." I felt the tears burning under my eyes and my nose already feeling swollen up. Dad wiped the tears away. "I promise." Then he kissed my forehead and he let me go. I walked away and did not look back. Because I felt that If I did in fact look back, I was going to run back to him. I got on my plane and closed my eyes. The plane lifting into the air was terrifying at first, but then when we were in the air, I got used to it. The plane lasted for a couple of hours, and then we eventually landed. When I got out of the plane, I was really anxious. The place was really crowded and I was super lost on where exactly to pick my bags from. "I'm sorry please where can I get my bags from?" I asked a worker and then he pointed the place out to me. "Thanks." I said as I took my bags and headed for the arrival. I saw a couple of people and I started wondering how exactly I was going to find Lily. "Selena! Selena! Selena!" I heard a female voice shout. "Over hear!" I turned and Immediately I saw her. It was impossible to miss her. We ran up to each other and threw ourselves into a big hug. "Oh my God Selena is this you?" Lily said when she had finally let go. "You look so matured and different." I laughed. "If that is a funny way of saying I am fat thanks to Vivian, then thank you very much." "No, I'm actually serious. And fate come one now way. Fat from where?" Lily asked. "You look great. You should be a model or something." "Oh geez. You are really embarrassing me right now." I laughed. "Excuse me for saying the truth." Lily said and I laughed. She hadn't changed one bit. She was still Sassy and cranky ass Lily. I had genuinely missed her so much. "You look like you." I said honestly. "Thanks for being honest. If you said I looked any different, I would have sworn that Aliens had taken my actual best friend and replaced her with a lying clone." Lily said. Well Lily had pretty much grown up before anyone else back in school. Literally faster than anyone else. When we were still looking at our flat chest, Lily was wearing bras that showed off her cleavages. She had even towered over boys. But then in senior year of high school, we had all grown past Lily and she had become well, like Lily. And now she remained the same. She had stopped growing completely. "Where is my goddaughter?' Lily eyed me suspiciously. "Did you throw her off the plane because you knew that I was going to love her more than I love you and give her my full attention while I gave you nothing?" I laughed hard. Lily was crazy, absolutely crazy.
