The new witch Ms Alison

One Sunday night while I was coming from Master Thomas's room because his newly married wife asked me for a box of apples. I walked through the long thin hall imagining myself back with dad, I bumped into someone almost face flat on the floor but again I was caught by someone, I already knew who it was and this time he didn't hold me by the waist instead he held me by my tummy his hand almost touching my bossom. I was glad it didn't because that would be so awkward, ‘ Why do we meet like this? ’ he said and gave a light smile.

‘ I'm so sorry, i should have watched my way ’ I said.

‘ No no no it's not your fault ’ he said.

‘ you know anytime I save you from falling I feel like a hero ’ he said.

‘ Well you are my hero ’ I said.

‘ really?, I like that ’ he said and then left.

The next morning I received a letter from my dad, and it said.

MY DEAR OLIVIA,

I HOPE YOU HAVE BEEN A GOOD GIRL BECAUSE I WOULDN'T WANT YOU DYING, THE MONEY HAS REALLY BEEN HELPING MY BUSINESS, I'VE FOUND KNEW INVESTORS FOR THE BUSINESS.

DON'T FALL SICK OR ANYTHING STAY TIGHT I LOVE YOU.

I folded it into a tiny square and put it in my pocket, all the kitchen servants were assigned to cook a feast. Today was finally the day we've all been waiting for, Ms Miller would step down from her throne and go to the old people's clinic until she dies.

The will reading would commence that afternoon and there was a huge crowd there watching every single thing, cameras fixed on them, it was going to be put live on TV.

My dad was going to watch it on TV because he had a business meeting with an investor so he wouldn't want to miss it.

I stood at the door when Ms Miller and Ms Alison signed every single document there they had their thumb prints on every paper, then Ms Miller made a speech before Ms Alison made another speech.

She promised to be loyal while rulling the city,then she was given a vaccine to live at least 500 years before dying.

It was all over by ten in the night and I went to bed eleven, we didn't know Ms Alison was hiding her true form until a week later, she made two guards beat up a senior staff just because her bath water wasn't boiled at the exact temperature she asked for. What a wicked witch, the girl was almost dead by the time she asked them to stop, after that she sent the girl home to recover in one week with her family and removed out of her salary. Ms Miller would never do that, I regret praying for Ms Miller to get sick at least we could still make mistakes twice a day but this one we could never make any mistake.

On a Friday afternoon I was by the fireplace in the hallway at the last floor, I was giving my letter to the mail man to deliver it to my dad when a junior maid came to me.

‘ Olivia you're in trouble ’ she said.

‘ what do you mean? ’ I asked confused.

‘ Ms Alison has me calling your name for over an hour and you gave no response ’ she said.

‘ didn't anyone tell her I was sending away my mail? ’ I asked.

‘ Tiana did but she gave her a slap ’ she said.

Just as I was about to go meet Ms Alison, she came down to me.

‘ I've been calling for you for over an hour ’ she said.

‘ I'm sorry ma'am ’ I pleaded.

She gave me a tight slap, ‘ I didn't ask you to speak, you useless girl!! ’ she yelled.

‘ Were you deaf when I was calling your name?! ’ she said.

‘ No ma'am ’ I answered.

‘ gaurds beat her up ’ she ordered and left.

They beat me up with sticks everyone watched my body being designed by sticks. Some one said, ‘ Stop!! ’ .

‘ but Master Tyler your mother ordered us to do it ’ one of the gaurds said.

‘ Get out of here!! ’ Master Tyler said.

And immediately they left, he carried me like a baby to his room as blood dripped down my feet to the floor, everyone watched the way almighty Master Tyler the Prince of every maiden carried me upstairs.

I expected him to drop me in my room but instead he took me to his room and layed me on his bed. ‘ what happened? ’ he asked as he sat down beside me.

‘ Ms Alison called for me but I was at the last floor sending a letter to my father so how was I supposed to hear her calling, a maid came to inform me about it and we were about going upstairs when she came and you saw the rest ’ I explained.

‘ Why would she do such a thing ’ he said concerned.

He asked a maid to bring a first aid kit for him, ‘ I'll do it ’ I said when I noticed he was struggling with the bandages.

‘ No let me ’ he said.

He applied them on my wounds carefully, his touch on my skin were so soft and gentle. When he was done he went out of his room locking me in, I waited scared Ms Alison would enter and hit me again but she didn't instead it was Ms Nova, she asisted me to my room. I heard Master Tyler and Ms Alison arguing loudly over me, I was scared but when I entered my room I wasn't.

Linda hugged me tight, ‘ I'm glad nothing happened to you ’ she said.

‘ me too ’ I said.

‘ So did you guys kiss yet? ’ Sarah asked.

‘ of course not ’ I answered.

We all laughed and then I apologized to Tiana for being slapped by Ms Alison, ‘ No need to apologize, that witch is the one meant to okay ’ .
